Why don’t they disclose-before you download it and they steal all your info and track you-that it’s not free. So egregious. Nowhere does it state that there is a “3-day” trial. Grrrr

I managed to do it!
Deciding to throw out all my slides- this was the app I used to decide which to save, which to delete.
I am 75 and figured out how to do it without a problem.
I mean the saved quality is nothing compared to putting them in an old fashioned slide projector, but many memorable pictures came up which I could readily share with others. I also could save them on my phone.
Very pleased with myself and the app.

Amazing!
I have so many old slides that I can now scan to photos! I am so impressed! I’ve only had the app for a few days and I’m hooked. I purchased a Photomyne mini light box and scanning is a breeze! This app is priceless!

Good - but get Photomyne instead - same price and includes all functionality
I just tried SlideScan and used it to scan nine carousels of my dad’s old slide slides from the 1950s. It wasn’t perfect, but it was pretty close to it. We were very happy with the results. My one complaint is that I think Photomyne should remove SlideScan and light box apps from the App Store, because they have upgraded Photomyne to include the functionality of those apps. I was a little annoyed that I paid for SlideScan when I could’ve paid the same price for Photomyne and been able to scan slides, negatives, and photos

This app makes it easy to scan, restore, and save old slides into new memories

This app does a good job of converting old slides to digital. My problem is that when I’m done, I can’t delete my photos in the app and cancel my subscription without the converted photos being deleted from my phone albums. This effectively requires me to maintain my subscription indefinitely 😠

SlideScan works as advertised. It allowed me to capture some old slides. The backlight is important. Dark slides require a bright even light.
