Slowly is different than other pen pals apps. I love how you have to wait for letters to arrive depending on where your penpals are. I have met some incredibly nice people from all over the world. TBH: I wasn’t sure I’d like this app. Everyone here is a “writer” so be ready to READ long letters.

A Meaningful Opportunity to Make Friends!
This app has helped me to learn about others and improve my communication skills through writing. I’ve wanted a pen pal for so long, and I think this app has made it easier to make friends. I will note, however, that it takes some practice to remain consistent when writing to others.
Brilliant
It has changed my daily feelings, it has opened door to a massive possibility of friendships. Only one issue i suggest to be solved, when you delete an account there is no way to bring it back. I think there should be a way.

Absolutely Amazing 😭
I just started using this app and honestly I’m just blown away by the uniqueness of the concept. I love the waiting for a response (like a letter in the mail), that’s the kind of delayed gratification that will bring balance into this dopamine driven society. Also the exposure to sooo manyyy cultures is so cool! I also love the daily facts about different countries (some I’ve never heard of!) and then getting the opportunity to be a pen pal to someone there. It’s something truly golden and valuable about this app. Developers, you are the change we need to see in this world. Thank you for creating such a heartfelt app!

Most Under appreciated app (A hidden gold mine)
I being using this app for almost 7 years now. Over those time I have chat(exchange mails) with lots of people and get to know them somehow personally. We discuss exchange country, culture, experiences stories. You can have a family member in some countries and still don’t know about it because they are busy but slowly make it possible to find someone who is willing to discussed everything. Virtually, I have met people that I wish to some days meet in person. This is REALLY a great app and I appreciate the team behind it.

Wonderful App
This app helped me get to know new people without being rushed and so far, I’ve been exchanging letters with the nicest strangers from different parts of the world. The stamps are also interesting. I wish there are more options to read more than 6 open letters every day. Thank you for the creators of this app helping us connect with others in the form of modern pen pal vibes.

Great app for cultures
I used to use another service called “Students of the World” by a French organization. This is more streamlined and safer. Also, it’s tech to simulate the delivery of mail (without the trip to the post office) is an ingenious feature. Highly recommended if you’re trying to spark a convo across cultures.

одно из лучших приложений для знакомства с иностранцами, если хотите найти кого то с кем переписка не продлится три дня, то самое лучшее (и к сожалению не такое популярное как хотелось бы) приложение которое я находила за последние 7 месяцев
единственное нарекание и очень надеюсь что разработчики исправят это: пожалуйста сделайте больше возрастных рамок при поиске ровестников вместо 0-20 лет, хотя бы 0-10, 10-12, 12-14 лет и так далее
