Why do I have to pay for a subscription when I already bought the light bulb????????RIDICULOUS. Greed will soon lead to the end of our society. I stamp that. Good day. Or, you know what, I take that back.

This feels like a scam Midea adverse the app on the web pages etc but when you down load it it is a third party app that immediately demands £30-£40

The app is trash, devices are trash, I bought the annual membership to connect my devices and managed them but they they disconnect from the router every single day I’m so annoyed about this and is not even the router because I made a separate network just for the devices to get connected with the specification required and apparently are the only devices that get disconnected at home, customer support doesn’t even reply about my concerns and I want a refund for this trash app and devices!!!!

i had downloaded it and got the light bulb not thinking i would have to pay to use it monthly. and the price you have to pay is really high considering you only get so little control over it. would i purchase this again. no.
Don’t pay the subscription
I recently got a lightbulb to put in one of my lamps, and it told me to download the Feit Electric app. The logo of that app on the box is the same as the logo of this app. Almost didn’t realize it, but I deleted this one and got the other one, it controls the same devices for free.

Got a bulb and thought it was odd it didn’t have a remote before seeing g it needed an app thought that was fine and until I saw I had to pay a subscription FOR SOMETHING I ALREADY BOUGHT it’s scammy and frankly a terrible business model there should be a free mode in all honesty given people shouldn’t have to pay a subscription to use a freaking lightbulb

Subscriptions are a bad thing
Sick and tired of a subscription based experience to bilk me of money to use your services. Not interested and will pass on that premise alone no 3 day trial to know to walk away. Too many people are willing to pay perpetually for things and those subs add up and I will pass for something cheaper.
Can’t use without subscription
All I have is a small $20 camera I wanted to use. This app doesn’t let you add without 3.33 month subscription.

charging an annual subscription to unlock a door is ridiculous. you should build these OPEX costs into your business model guys.
Does nothing!
Do not purchase this app. I signed up for a 3 day trial when I got a new Tuya lock. It did absolutely nothing. Doesn’t unlock the door lock. It connected and that was all. Charged me 19.00 for absolutely nothing… no free trial just ripped me off. Garbage.

Auto Feeder
Feeder works as advertised. I have this feeder at my office so I needed something to feed my fish over the weekend. The feeder fits perfect in the lid door of my fluval flex 2.0 25 gallon. I would highly recommend this unit.
App freezes on pages
This seems to be the beta version. I used Sengled before and the app was much more user friendly. This app needs a lot of work. I open some screens and it freezes. The motion detection does not seem to detect anything, etc. I have it in and passed by a few times. No videos. I wish Sengled was still in business. This has been a very disappointing replacement. Sadly if you are looking for a flood light security bulb you don’t have many options.
Also the rating on here does not seem match up with the reviews. 4.6 when the majority of reviews are 1 and 2 stars. Hmmm???

Why pay for 2 light bills?
Lights work decently with the app, should be more features if I’m going to pay 40 bucks a year for 4 “special” light bulbs in my house.

Thank you for stop trying to sell me on your subscription so aggressively. The sub is not needed in order to use your lights, change the color, etc. I love being lazy and turning my lights off from my bed
Update: I just learned (unless I’m the problem) you can only have three devices before they force you to get a subscription in order to add them. Pay once for the hardware and a second time for the software, no thank you. I am sure there are better products available, especially when they only connect half the time
