Terrible, Disgusting Ads Suddenly Popping Up
I’ve used the free version of this app for a couple years now. Suddenly today (7/15/26), a disgusting ad that takes up the whole screen popped up saying: Your phone has been locked due to viewing Child Pornography on Pornhub. Contact Apple at -then it looks like you have to click or call to get out of it… I immediately returned to the Metronome app by clicking on the TINY font on the upper left hand corner, closed this app, and deleted it.
I love using this app in my instrument practice, yet it’s apparent there are no appropriate ad filters on this app! I did attempt to Contact The Developer first at the link next to Review. It led to a site where there is no apparent way to contact the developer, so here I am leaving a review here.
I deleted the app because I do not want to see such disgusting ads that take up your whole screen!

I play the French horn and wanted a tuner I could use for my instrument but when I downloaded this app I couldn’t even change the key let alone change the key to f.!! 😡😤

This metronome app has helped me with piano practice so much. I’ve been taking piano for about four years and really needed a metronome, so I found this app. I love it so much. You can add beats, change your background, and choose your time signature. Thanks!

This used to be a really useful app. But the latest upgrades make it awful.

So its super good and i use it for marching band and stuff you can change anything you dont like (time signature, color, ect and its a tuner sooo its really really good and pretty loud for some of yall mega loud instruments. Plus its fun and works very well no glitching or anything

It’s a great Metronome always works. It’s been my go to for years and I love that it has ads, but doesn’t interrupt practice or in your face. That’s cool thank you for creating something that musicians and students can use for free. We need more apps like this without a one minute interruption to watch some stupid commercial.
