It’s great.
It works well. I wish the buffer was longer instead of 30 seconds. For spotty internet people, it’d be nice if it were 120 seconds or so. It also feels a little weird with the full screen, then iPhone full screen to get pip to work. It’d be nice if using the second full screen feature wasn’t necessary. It’s also be nice if it had playback in locked mode so I could just listen without having to have the video playing.

Autop play geht nicht. Einstellungen hängen.
Wir haben die App auf unserer Apple TV Box installiert. Playlist spielen nicht ab trotz aktivierter Einstellung Autoplay nach einem Lied bleibt es stehen und man muss manuell das nächste Lied starten. Unter Einstellung haben wir aus Versehen auf exclude Channel gedrückt, was dazu geführt hat dass die Einstellung auf dem Bildschirm war und man nicht mehr zurück konnte, in die andern Einstellungen. Schließen und neu öffnen. Der App hat nichts gebracht. Danach und deshalb haben wir die App und auf dem iPhone. Installiert und festgestellt, dass die Versionsstände für Apple TV und iPhones sehr unterschiedlich sind. Prinzipiell hat die App ein sehr interessantes Konzept. Wenn es funktioniert, wäre es super. Uns nervt vor allen Dingen die Werbung in YouTube. wenn man sich mit dem Google Konto anmeldet, hat man auch die Playlist. Man kann sie nur nicht abspielen.

The best app out there!
Honestly, the bugs don’t bug me(hehe) and aside from them, it’s usually a quick fix or easy to go around when I do run into a bug. All that matters is that this app is MUCHHH better than that cursed red tube one. Even with the small amount of bugs, I rate this a 10/10!! 5 stars!! And honestly, where are you going to find an app like this ever again?

Good App But,
Need to be able to create playlists and add to them from the player menu when watching videos
Great app, needs some polish
The foundation for something great has been set, but there are some bugs that need ironing out.
Issues:
- Videos will sometimes lose audio after exiting and re-entering the app
- Some videos open in a different kind of player that doesn't work (Looks similar to the iOS player)
- In-video links do not work
- Thumbnails on the homepage sometimes flash as if reloading constantly
- Subscription list is out of order (i.e. newer videos are shown later that older videos)
Possible QoL Improvements:
- A way to navigate to similar videos from within the player would be nice
- It would be nice to have an option for videos to go to a miniplayer when minimized in-app
I love this app so far and with a few quality of life fixes this app would be a 5/5 for me.

Background playback not working
Hi developers, I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro Max with the latest iOS version, but background playback isn’t working correctly. The audio stops when I lock the screen or switch to the home screen or another app. Could you please look into this issue?

Amazing app, works so well. No clutter and no ads. Includes sponsor block and allows you to download videos locally. Keeps getting better and more stable with every update and works flawlessly for me. One thing that would make it perfect is if I could see the video description. Maybe I’m overlooking it, but seem to only be able to see comments.

I like it but..
It’s a good and reliable video player with no ads but the one problem is I can’t play audio when my phone is off and the audio stops playing I miss this old feature. Edit I wish timestamps worked too ;(
Auf iOS gut aber auf tvOS schwierig
Finde die App auf dem iPhone gut gelungen, jedoch gibt es einige Probleme auf dem Apple TV. Zum einen werden Videos zum Teil ab einer gewissen Dauer schwarz und es kommt kein Ton mehr, zum anderen ist das Video Interface etwas schwierig gestaltet. Erst nach mehrmaligem Klicken pausiert das Video oder das Menü lässt sich aufrufen. Das negativste ist jedoch das alle Videos in einer sehr geringen Auflösung geladen werden und diese im Video selbst nicht geändert werden kann.
Wäre schön wenn man sich um diese Probleme kümmern würde, dann wäre die TV App sicherlich genauso gelungen wie auf dem iPhone.

Latest update: Won't stay paused
This app is generally great, but there's tons of random changes to the layout and functionality with each update, it doesn't seem like it's being tested much at all? So many changes with no clear purpose behind them, and always a new bug introduced when the last bug is fixed, making it a generally frustrating experience to use. At least it doesn't have the problem with endless ads and tracking that the official app does.

Unkomplizierte Alternative zu sideloading
Hält was sie verspricht, eine Übersichtliche App mit Ad und SponsorBlock. Das einzige was ich vermisse ist die Möglichkeit Videos in playlists hinzuzufügen, ansonsten alles super!

Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten, läuft es jetzt ziemlich gut.

These problems need fixed, bad. Sometimes, videos will randomly pause and won’t keep playing unless I go out of the video and go back into it. Other times, videos just won’t play at all and say “Unable to play this video”. On my Smart TV and on my IPhone, in which I have this app on both, it gives me random shorts I don’t want and have never watched anything close too in my life, and even when I click “Not Interested” and refresh, they still come back! When I try to hold down to get the options (To do stuff like click “Not Interested”), it plays the Short. 1 last complaint, sometimes it will randomly go to a black screen and restart the video when watching a video. Developer, please fix these issues, otherwise, this app would be amazing. Thanks.

Hm not playing videos should be only if its members video perhpas. Strange shorts might be because you have per device recomendation in settings. But i will look into it anyhow. Regards

Old video player was better
The new one is reliable yes as free even better but now when I turn off my phone the audio sadly no linger plays when this new update came out.
Kein backround Playback
Gute App aber leider kann man am iPhone 17 Pro Max auf YouTube nur hören solange das Display an ist. Trotz aktivierten backround play funktioniert es nicht. Ton geht weg sobald Handy gesperrt ist
Buggy but would be great
Many of the features for ad skipping are implemented well but I found the regular play/pause and seek functionality is completely unresponsive on iPad which makes it not useful
