This release is about accuracy. If you hold anything outside your home currency, several numbers were wrong before, and they are right now. Multi currency, done properly Trades you entered by hand were always recorded in US dollars, which inflated the value of holdings priced in other currencies. Trades now record the currency the security actually trades in, detected automatically. Dividends, realized gains, allocation percentages and your tax report all convert correctly before they are added together, so every screen agrees. A stock detail screen now shows the same position value as your holdings list, and labels the native trading currency next to the price. Stock splits fixed If you had recorded a stock split, your growth chart showed a false cliff on the split date and everything based on it was wrong, including your all time high, your worst drawdown and your long term returns. Splits are now handled correctly and your history reads as one continuous line. Backups you can trust Backups did not store currency, so restoring your own backup could silently corrupt every holding that was not in US dollars. Backups now include it, and older backup files still restore. Built for iPad SmartFolio now has a real iPad layout instead of a stretched phone screen. Content sits at a comfortable reading width, charts and the allocation wheel scale up to use the space, grids show more columns, and tapping a holding no longer breaks the back gesture. Stability and privacy Fixed a crash that could occur when every position had been sold. Face ID lock no longer lets someone in when Face ID is unavailable or locked out, and now falls back to your passcode. Deleting a portfolio now deletes its transactions instead of leaving them on your device, and Erase All Data clears your settings and saved API key too. Everyday fixes Selling with Max now sells your entire position, including fractional shares and crypto. Number entry works in regions that use a comma as the decimal mark. When prices cannot be reached, the app now tells you and offers a retry instead of spinning forever. Scrolling and chart scrubbing are noticeably smoother. Thank you for using SmartFolio.
