Home fan

We were looking for a fan for the bedroom which we have tried 3 different fans to date
We were at Best Buy and were looking at some fans and this model was on sale so we decided to give it a try however I cannot stand noise or vibration especially when your trying to sleep
Upon getting this box home I noted it was heavier than most and once we opened the box you can see its built a lot stronger than most and has a actual metal motor not plastic
The base is round and has substantial weight
Upon further investigation we learned it has Smart Control and can be joined with Google or Alexa and a couple more
I could not believe how quiet the fan itself is you can basically not even hear it only when it’s moving horizontally or vertically there is a little noise very little

I don’t have the fan moving at night only the fan on and in my opinion it’s as quiet as one of those models that cost upwards of 700 it has surprised me
On a scale of 1/10 I definitely would give this fan a 8.5-9. Out of 10 for the price the versatility it’s a absolute bargain as we were not familiar with the brand but now that we have seen it and used it we’re curious on other products they may sell here in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Definitely worth taking a look 👀
Much higher quality in relationship to its construction than 90% out there you will notice that the second you open the box 📦

Missing key features

Can't set fan speed to auto or set temp in Fahrenheit when creating scenes. Auto fan speed is crucial.

Works well

Smooth works well. Easy to use

Love the app!
It makes it so much easier for me to turn my AC unit on & off whenever I am not home. It also shows my room temperature as well as the outside temperature which I love.

No Matter What?

The settings are conusing and allow you to get stuck in a situation where you can’t modify settings manually. You try and get error messages.

This app is a good example of why vendors should adhere to the Matter or HomeKit standard and leave the home control apps to the home control app experts.

Make great hardware that is Matter or HomeKit standard and it sells itself.

This humidifier stands a good chance of being returned specifically because of this mobile app.

Absolutely Brilliant

A little confusing at first

This was a little confusing at first because it’s not the same app that is a standalone controller for the air-conditioning units but controls all of their units but using this application allow me to link it to Alexa and have voice control and home automation added to it

Works great

So far havent had any issues

Easy to use

Simple

Loses settings after every power cut

Every time the electricity cuts out or switches (which happens constantly here in Iraq), the app completely loses its memory and forgets the current settings. It is incredibly frustrating to reconfigure everything multiple times a day. Please fix the local storage or cloud memory so it remembers the last state after a power cycle.
Please fix this issue ( developer).

Excellent Hardware, Good App with Room to Grow

I’ve spent the past few weeks really getting to know both this dehumidifier and the SmartHome app. I’ve compared its readings with multiple independent humidity sensors throughout my home and have been impressed with how well the dehumidifier performs. It’s quiet, efficient, easy to set up, and has done an excellent job controlling basement humidity. The hardware is outstanding.

My feedback is really about the app, because it has the potential to be just as good as the hardware.

A few improvements would make a big difference:

• Show when the compressor is actually running, not just whether the unit has power.
• Include humidity history, runtime, and water removal statistics.
• Show an estimated bucket fill level.
• Explain the difference between Set and Smart modes more clearly.
• Allow users to adjust the humidity differential before the compressor starts again.
• Hide automation options that aren’t supported by the connected device. Seeing features that end with “This device doesn’t support this function” is frustrating and confusing.

The app is reliable and attractive, but it feels like it exposes only part of what the hardware is capable of. With a few thoughtful software updates, I genuinely believe it could become one of the best smart appliance apps available.

The hardware already deserves five stars. I hope future app updates allow me to give the software the same rating.

So far so good. A little confused when dehumidifiers were not an option on the Midea list but the app was able to find my dehumidifier and I was able to connect to Alexa

Good app

App is great! It tells me when the AC needs draining as well when filters need cleaning

Air conditioning

Great 🤩 app

Great a/c

Very quiet and cool

Forcing updates, removing features.

Unbelievable. Note latest update no longer runs on iOS 15. Old version discontinued and no longer functions. Filthy garbage scum.

How all companies are learning from Apple, including this one. Forced update removed the ability to run a diagnostic check of systems, replaced instead with "Service Request" that a fee is charged for. I'm sure the plan is to eventually charge a monthly fee, for their subscription service, to be able to turn the A/C off and on. I am so disgusted, nearly speechless. This is our world now. What a scum company. STOP AUTOMATIC FORCED DATABASE UPDATES WHEN OPENING THE APP!!!!!! This can take 10+ minutes on a slow connection, the app is unusable until download complete. Why are you forcing database updates on me when everything is working perfectly? Why are you not listening to customers and adding an option to turn off automatic database update, in settings?

Good but not always easy to understand

The app does work good does what it’s supposed to. I wish the instructions were a little bit more clear on how to do certain things instead of having to guess but it is what it is and it gets the job done that’s for sure.
