Problemas para salvar na fototeca
Uso o SmugMug há muitos anos, tanto para meu fluxo de trabalho quanto para entregar galerias aos meus clientes, e sempre foi um aplicativo excelente.
Infelizmente, há alguns meses a função “Salvar na Fototeca” deixou de funcionar no iOS. Isso tem causado bastante transtorno, porque dificulta o download das fotos e compromete uma das funcionalidades mais importantes do app.
Espero que esse problema seja corrigido o quanto antes, pois continuo acreditando na plataforma e gostaria de voltar a utilizá-la com a mesma confiabilidade de sempre.

Poor syncing
Based on my experience, Background syncing is poor, so you can’t treat it as a seamless backup solution for your precious pictures.
The Best!
I have used SmugMug for many years- prob 7/8 and love it! I use it for personal and for sharing images after events! I love the ease and categorize options I can customize!
How do I unselect a folder?
The app is acting bizarre. I cannot unselect a folder after moving it and I have to close the app every time
Hello Spinner
The blocks of the spinner flash round and round, round and round, round and round. The blocks of spinner flash round and round, all while I frown. Specifically, the app opens showing my name, then a faint banner indicating that my site is private during trial. (I purchased the Pro subscription.) Below that is the spinner. Yes, I updated the app. Five minutes later, it is still spinning. Goodbye.

Most important function doesn’t work
I use smugmug to back up my iPhone photos. I pay a premium for this feature. It doesn’t work. It always gets stuck leaving hundreds of photos not backed up. It’s terrible. Problem is I’m stuck after using it for years and it would be a pain to migrate everything.
Update 6/16/26: of course I already emailed SmugMug about this. Two days later they responded, “There is a bug within the app right now that our team is working on. When a fix is sent into the app store you will receive a notification from us to let you know to update.” Today, 4 days later, there is still no fix or notification. It must be a huge bug or a low priority for them. Wouldn’t recommend this app to iPhone users. It also doesn’t save Live Photos as live—converts them to stills. OneDrive may be better.

The app constantly crashes when I am trying to upload pictures from site. Desktop version is great but don’t bother with the app unless you want to get mad
Uploads from Photos doesn’t work
This new update looks nice but it won’t recognize my photo library. I have allowed access to the entire library and it just spins. I am trying to send a client graduation photo proofs. I think I need to find a new service. This is not good. The most basic function isn’t working.

Love the web, hate the app
As a new user, I certainly didn’t expect to waste hours trying to get my first upload to work. Firstly, I had to endure the 2+ minutes of delay while the app opened my Apple Photo library - something I never experience on any other app. Then I had to watch as the photos I selected for upload appeared to load and didn’t. Over and over and over again. The progress bar would move from left to right, then start over again. It was like watching Ground Hog Day on LSD, not that I’ve ever taken that. I searched for root causes, being handed the usual nonsense about my network and this and that software update. Then I noticed that my trial membership had lapsed. I renewed it, and everything started working immediately. As a veteran of 40 years of information technology work, including working on data import and synchronization software at scale, I can hardly believe that this kind of simple failure would result in application and website behaviors that would offer me no clue as to the root cause of these failures. This is a sad, sad failure of someone’s design, coding and testing. And wow, what an awful way to treat new customers.

Like it but…
Lots of bugs in IOS 25.x and iphone 17 pro. While scrolling online or offline many images are ok vertical but blank (all black) when rotating the phone to horizontal.
Bad updates.
Last few updates have resulted in nothing but an increase in the app crashing. Making the app pointless to use and have to use the actual website on a computer.
Update June 3, can finally sign in on IOS 26.5 without crashing, but trying to upload more than 3 pictures at a time still results in crashing.
