I have been using this app for years and love it. Its user friendly and wonderful to have in the classroom and therapy room. Highly recommend!

This App has been an absolute game changer for my daughter. She lacks the motor skills to write so the App has opened up so many possibilities and lessons for her. Thank you. I don’t know where we’d be now without it. I have also been incredibly impressed by the speed and understanding of customer service. A glitch on the App was reported and rectified by an update in under 24 hours with regular communication throughout.

Update (May18/23): App support has been very responsive. Fixed issues and had good communication through the whole experience.
Update (May 17/23): App support has been working with me to debug and may have resolved issues with upcoming update. Thanks. Will adjust my review again with newer release. Previously: It seems this new update (to introduce SnapType Pro 2) brings back some of the bugs reported years ago. It crashes when starting. It also deleted all my previous files as if I've never used SnapType before. After restarting my iPad (with latest iPadOS), app loads but only once. Device restart is required again. Repeats.

Great when it works!
It’s a great tool when it actually works, but it crashes all the time. I bought it years ago and stopped using it because it was so frustrating. I just recently tried it again thinking they would have fixed the issue by now, but it’s doing the same thing!

Alphabetical Order…
Love SnapType!!! Just wondering if it would be possible to have the documents in alphabetical order or in the order they were uploaded… everything time I add a document, all my documents switch places. 😩

Valuable tool
I have been using SnapType Pro as a tool for my special education students for 3 years because it serves students with a wide range of abilities. My students who can use a keyboard quickly learn how to independently snap a picture of their assignment and immediately start working just as their peers are doing. My students who use AAC on an ipad for communication can compose each of their answers on their AAC app, hit ‘copy’, flip over to the SnapType app and paste it directly on the worksheet or whatever else the class is using. Once completed, they hit ‘share’ and they email it to me or upload it into their Seesaw journal, Google drive, etc. We are getting excellent technology like Chromebooks in the classroom now, but the ipad is always with us, whether we are working in the library or maybe outside in the garden, and there is no need to log in so we find it very helpful and convenient.

I can’t sent my assignments on canvas to my teachers
This program does not let me export my assignments on canvas to my teachers just 1 and it won’t let me chose which one.

Hi. We discussed extensively over email and tried our best to find a solution. Unfortunately, sharing to canvas is enabled by the canvas app and despite several emails to them for assistance we never heard back. Although we were happy to hear that you found a workaround.
Amazing App!
I have been using SnapType for my school for three years now, and it has really helped since I can’t write well or for very long due to my tremor. Also, if you have a problem or question, if you send them an email, they always get back to you with an adequate response. Thank you for making such a useful app and I will be using it for years to come.

Great but could be better
It has helped my son tremendously in school & with homework. My only issue is getting a picture of the lined loose leaf paper the right size. If it's not just the right size you have to stop & start again so having one already set to go on the app would make things soo much easier. Other than that it's a great app. *Seriously though get a lined paper already set to go on the app!!*

Before i had SnapType Pro, i had to write all these worksheets by hand. I have a problem with fine motor skills, so this was perfect for me. 11/10!
Game changer for my son
Excellent and versatile app that has finally allowed my dysgraphic son to demonstrate his understanding in full when writing. Convenient import function that allows to prep work ahead of time and super easy to use interface, love the ability to organise the worksheet in different folders. And if something comes up at the last minute, acquiring a new worksheet it’s just a matter of a snap!
