Doesn’t work

Tried multiple times on our dog and even ourselves. Nothing but a metallic screeching. Waste of money.

FAQ

What does the Snoopy Dog Heartbeat app do?

This app allows you to use your iPhone's microphone to listen to and record your dog's heartbeat. It's designed to help monitor your dog's heart health, particularly for issues like heart murmurs or congestive heart failure, and enables you to share these recordings with your veterinarian.

Do I need any special accessories to use the app?

No accessories are required to use the app, as it utilizes your iPhone's internal microphone. However, the developers strongly recommend using AirPods or Bluetooth headphones for a better listening and recording experience, and some users find wetting the dog's fur around the heart area helps improve the connection.

How does the app help with dog heart murmurs or CHF?

The app helps by allowing regular recording and monitoring of your dog's heart rate and rhythm. This data can be shared with your vet, who can then remotely check your dog's health, potentially saving on frequent in-person visits. It's ideal for owners of dogs at risk of or diagnosed with conditions like congestive heart failure.

Does the app work on all dog breeds?

Yes, the app is designed to work with all dog breeds, regardless of size or shape. The developers have engineered sound isolation techniques and use an advanced algorithm to amplify dog heartbeat sounds, making them easier to detect and hear across various breeds, including puppies.

Is the app free to use?

The app is free to download and use, with the option for in-app purchases. While the core functionality of listening and recording is available, additional features or enhanced capabilities might be offered through in-app purchases.
