The app has gone seriously downhill over the last year and is now littered with ads and pop ups that stop any background activity like music etc. Terrible UI direction and lacking any sort of user friendliness now. Delete!
Amazing app for the sports fan
A plethora of stats and info for sports fans, kudos to the people who work hard to bring it to us.

Ad spam
This has been my go-to app for scores for a decade, but this year they’ve introduced pop-up ads that take over your screen and take minutes to close. It’s made the app total junk.

This used to be a great app for scores.. now you can open it because it has an add, mind you try closing it and it keeps popping up with more.. its terrible
Years of daily use, but the ads have finally made me leave!
I’ve used SofaScore every day for several years. It has been my go to app for football scores, fixtures, line ups and statistics, and I genuinely think the core app is excellent.
Unfortunately, the advertising has become so intrusive that I’m finally deleting it and moving to FotMob.
I completely understand that a free app needs to make money, and I have no issue with reasonable banner advertising. What I can’t accept is constant full-screen and video adverts interrupting me when I simply want to check a score.
The final straw was opening SofaScore and getting a full-screen advert featuring a virtually naked woman covering her private parts. I use this app at work and around other people. I shouldn’t have to worry about what might suddenly appear on my screen when I’m checking a football score.
Looking through the recent reviews, it’s clear I’m far from the only long-term user leaving because of the advertising.
It’s a shame. You’ve taken an app I happily used daily for years and made the advertising intrusive enough that I’d rather move to a competitor.

A lot of recent reviews say ads I don’t see it. If you do have experience of ads just pin it to lock screen. Every match is there and it’s just dandy

Basically the title. Too much ads and full screen ads. Killed the user experience. No one is going to pay $60/year just to get rid of ads. You can shove your subscription into your databases now.

Have used this app for a good number of years but the last 12 months or so it has become a constant attack of auto playing game adverts.
I understand you need to make money but the adverts are way too frequent and its massively spoiling the experience of using this app.

Stop with the Pop Up Ads!!!
I’ve used this app for years and I love it. Especially for how quick the goal notifications are. But recently they’ve been having ads pop up that fill the whole screen and it takes like 30 seconds to click off of them. I clear the app once I see an ad pop up which is much quicker… but seriously annoying. Makes it feel like a cheap app
