GDD calibration
I shared my concern about not being able to adjust the target GDD, and the next day, they had fixed it.
Highly recommend this app

Thank you so much for the kind words and for taking the time to share that feedback. It genuinely helped improve SoilIQ. I’m building this app to be as useful and responsive as possible for real users in the field, so feedback like yours makes a big difference. Really appreciate the support!
Awesome app w/ pro features!!
Response from developer
Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. I’m really glad LawnIQ has been useful for your lawn care and that the grass-type insights feel tailored to your property. That is exactly the direction I’m working toward with SoilIQ. Making soil and lawn guidance feel more personal, practical, and easy to use. I really appreciate the support, and there’s a lot more coming!
What I’ve Been Missing
Soil with intelligence
Most “soil apps” either overwhelm you with data or oversimplify everything to the point where it’s useless. SoilIQ hits a really nice balance — it gives you meaningful insights without making you feel like you need a degree in agronomy to use it.
If you care about getting better results out of your lawn or managing turf more intelligently, this is worth using. It’s especially helpful for dialing in inputs instead of just throwing fertilizer down and hoping for the best.
Big upside here as it continues to evolve.

This made my day, thank you! The "without a degree in agronomy" framing is exactly what I'm going for. People all over the world will benefit from SoilIQ and I'm happy this app can be the solution that they've been looking for!
A serious app for lawn care

Response from developer

The future of lawn care is here
We’re moving from guesswork to data-informed decisions, and this app sits right at that intersection. Instead of treating soil as a static variable, it helps you think about it as a dynamic system you can actually understand and optimize.
What I appreciate most is the usability — it doesn’t feel like a research tool, it feels like something you can use day-to-day.
For professionals and serious homeowners alike, this is a step toward smarter, more efficient lawn care.

Intelligence for your Dirt!
The interface is clean and easy to navigate. After entering basic information about your plants or soil conditions, the app gives clear recommendations on nutrients, moisture levels, and general plant health. I especially like that the information is explained in a way that’s easy to understand even if you’re not experienced with soil science.
Another strong point is how actionable the advice is. Instead of just giving raw data, SoilQ translates it into practical steps—like what nutrients may be missing, watering adjustments, or soil improvements you can make.
Overall: SoilQ is a well-designed, helpful tool for gardeners, plant owners, or anyone interested in improving soil health. It makes technical information accessible and turns it into practical advice you can actually use. 🌿
