Highly recommended

If there was a setting to account for shading that adjusts with the season etc. it would be more accurate. The only way now to do it is to adjust for losses.
I like the simple interface and it gives me a pretty accurate prediction for my system.

Neat App

Having solar panels it is always good to know what kind of conditions we might expect. This app is incredibly easy to use and understand and actively reflects the weather. It helps me to plan when to make good use of the energy I have stored and when not to.
I’ve had the app for quite some time and I use it everyday on my phone and IPad. It’s so useful I hope they develop a Mac version soon.

Highly recommended.

Great App

Very simple to use and setup and has all the functionality of other paid apps - great app

Not great

The predictions are all over the place and often seem completely disconnected from the actual weather forecast. I can check the BOM well in advance and see conditions that clearly don’t match what the app is predicting.

Even on a fully overcast day, the app can still predict around 65kWh of generation, when in reality we’re nowhere near even 15kWh. That makes the predictions pretty useless for planning battery usage.

It would also be really useful if the app allowed users to enter their actual generation at the end of each day. Surely feeding real-world data back into the system would help improve its future predictions.

At the moment, I just don’t find the predictions reliable enough to be useful.

Wenn man jetzt auch ein Wochen oder Monats Trend hätte und seine realen Werte eintragen könnte. Evtl noch Speicher einfügen wäre das super.
Ich bin gespannt was noch kommt 👍🌞

Massively under forecasts

Early days yet but it would seem the app massively under forecasts. For example today the forecast was 18kWh and actual was 30kWh generated. That is about 80% of the best ever. All the weather apps correctly forecast a sunny day but this app rated it as a weak day for solar. So sadly the app is of no use.

L’outil qui me permettra de dimensionner mon installation au mieux, c’est vraiment un beau travail !
Merci à vous, en plus, d’avoir pensé à faire sans devoir se connecter à un compte. Surtout, gardez çà, c’est précieux !
Après quelques jours, une idée me vient:
Si j’ai un chargeur qui est limité à une puissance maximale inférieure à celle des panneaux, il serait bien de pouvoir indiquer cette limite dans les paramètres du parc solaire…
Sinon, pour moi ça fonctionne bien !

Really good indicator

I have solar and a storage battery, heat pump, solar diverter and Ev that I like to manually control. Rather than leaving it to AI, as I am personally unpredictable with my usage. I am also on the old solar fit payments so I get paid even if I use & store every last drop of solar. So this is a good way to predict what solar I am going to be able to use and save and not fill the battery up from the grid.

Application très plaisante et assez juste avec la réalité
Dommage qu’elle ne prenne pas la température des panneaux pour en calculer la déperdition
Mais il faudrait mettre un capteur ce que j’ai fait
Il suffit de calculer ensuite, entre 0,3 et 0,4 % par degrés, cela peut être moins avec tu TopCon
Mais bravo cette petite application est une réussite
Et pourtant j’ai déjà un gros dashboard

Great product 1 feature request

Great product, tweaking it a the moment but provides the info I need. Could you add the ability for us to provide our power generation stats, over a week for example. That you could then use to dial in the forecast accuracy for our setups.

History & setup

Great app very useful. Two improvements would be the ability to store and transfer my solar setup to another device. The other is having a bit of a history to the predictions so I can go back and compare my generation to the end days predictions

Fantastic Very Accurate ,,,

Updating my review since last update, it now forecasts according to solar array, this is brilliant now, thank you.

One question why does it show mwh & not kWh on the main forecast ?

Would be better if you could add the Solar Array KWh And the app make the calculations according to the solar size of individuals.

App wir immer besser ! Jetzt auch mit Angabe seiner PV-Anlage und Ertragsvorhersage. Hier gibt’s allerdings einen kleinen Bug 🐜, die Einheit stimmt nicht beim Ertrgag. Die Anzeige zeigt statt z.B. 4kWh Ertrag bei einem Balkonkraftwerk 4MWh an 😂, wäre super, stimmt aber leider nicht 🤭. Aber wird bestimmt mit dem nächsten Update korrigiert. Danke für die tolle App. 👍🏻👏🏻
