Top reviews

Too glitchy

The app has too many bugs to go through

Terrible

Fix the bugs

Do better

The user interface is bad. Please fix. Real complicated. A lot of extra steps for simple stuff like moving a module, or deleting a module is drawn out way more then it has to be. Please fix. I use this daily.

Questionable reviews

Solaredge must be having their employees write reviews for their apps. This app is hands down the buggiest thing they develop. Anyone that maps systems dreads having to use this thing. First creating a site is a crap shoot. You’re almost guaranteed to get errors upon creation. Then once the site is created good luck loading it. You will waste an hour of your day just trying to load a site. Error 1001. This app should be getting tweaks on the regular, but instead they haven’t updated it in over half a year.

Scanning the serial numbers is a terrible and painful process. Also building the arrays.

Scanning and building arrays needs to be easier. They should just copy what enphase does with there app. Not sure why it needs to be so complicated

Works great

It’s a great app for onsite
Would be 5 star if I could delete old sites and un clutter the Home Screen

Not great

Not very user friendly hard to fix mistakes

Great improvements!

It’s much more functional now.

Awful setup

Everything about this website is difficult. From the set up to the scanning. Not to mention the constant problems with the site itself. The hours you waste dealing with customer service and half the time they don’t understand what your talking about or they see something different on the screen from you making it once again extremely difficult to trouble shoot.

Add array number

Add array number option to array builder. It would make it easier to edit locate the array layouts on the roof. Otherwise I like this new version.

New Layout

The satellite image portion doesn’t work properly. Typical for SolarEdge.

Useless

Can’t even login.

Endless loading screen when creating sites

Need to fix the simple little bigs that stop me my creating sites on this app

No ability to edit

Terrible app. No user manual. No ability to edit, modify a module group once created. Seriously, why even use this? Better off hand drawing and uploading

iPad version

An iPad version of this and the SetApp would be great as it’s lots easier to work on than a phone

Pretty terrible design

This app has a total lack of consideration for the end user. Just a little work would go a long ways in making this useful. As it is, it’s barely better than using a paper and pen.

ENHANCEMENT REQUEST - OWNER ACCESS

This is an enhancement request. That means, a request for an enhancement to the functionality of a product by a customer.

As a CUSTOMER, that is, somehow who paid real money to purchase one or more of your products (in other words, which allowed you to pay the bills), I want access to the mapper functions. As a CUSTOMER (see above), I should be able to monitor the health of my system, including the performance of my array and each component thereof. I could also argue that I should have the ability to make corrections or changes, but can respect that a good case could be made for allowing only trained support personnel should have that level of access.

So, this access should start with login, to allow a CUSTOMER login. Based on the CUSTOMER identification, access would be limited to READ ONLY, without the ability to make changes to the configuration or settings. This access should include, among other things, the ability to:
1. See the mapping of hardware,
2. See the model, serial number and version of each component,
3. See the current performance of each component (status, output, errors, etc.)
4. See any history of status, performance or errors that may be captured or stored,
5. Output/ download all of this information in a format suitable for loading into a spreadsheet,
6. See all parameters and settings of any and all controller components.

In addition, the customer should be able to see and download a history of transactions , including any logins, diagnostics performed, changes, resets, errors, or any other messages. If such logs do not exist, then this enhancement request also includes a request for enhancement of the product to capture, report, store and download such logs upon demand by the installers, remote support personnel, and the CUSTOMER.

One final note: reputable developers provide responses to customer reviews. I note that none of your few reviews show and developer response. Do you even read them?

Waste of Fing time

Scans The optimizers okay. Says “site name invalid”. Tech support was not any help. Can’t upload site data so NG. I guess solar edge should hire someone who’s capable of building an app that works. Fing disgusted.

Worked as stated.

I really like this app. And all of SolarEdge software.

It’s a seamless experience exporting from their online Designer app to monitoring. Then opening the site in this app to scan the QR codes worked wonderfully.

Great work developers.

Camera not working

Was working fine and then all of a sudden camera has stopped working for barcode scan. Have uninstalled and reinstalled still no luck. Makes the job so much longer manually entering barcodes - not happy.
