Pretty useless for 2026 F63

Can literally tell it to turn on the treadmill and set speed/incline. That's basically it. No stats (it barely records workouts without gaps/missing sessions). The treadmill itself is hot garbage, the fan is so weak it can't create airflow 2" from the vent, the arms are flimsy and rattle back and forth, the quick adjust dials (speed/incline) are so cheap they regularly confuse increment/decrement inputs if you spin them quick... like a quick-adjust dial. They also love to skip multiple levels because the detents suck. The disabled firmware updates OTA from the app for the treadmill because it, like everything else for the unit, was broken (it would just endless update-loop). My Cushion Flex 2.0 deck is already squealing/rattling apart after 2 months with only 2 actual run sessions (the rest walking). I thought the cuts they made (like no screen) were strategic so they could keep the price-point low while improving other areas but it's looking like the whole treadmill is just hot garbage. Big miss, I'll probably never buy another consumer treadmill and just use the one at my gym.

Can’t create my own workout

When I first used this app I was able to create my own workout and set the max time and resistance level. Now That’s no longer available in the app so it’s useless to me. Please bring that feature back.

Bad update

Used to work fine

Now history records calories instead of miles no way to change it back for history, no documentation, warning people
about it

Sole treadmill is junk for serious running

I had hoped that this app along with those on the treadmill itself would allow me to make a proper custom workout. However the only way of doing that is on the machine itself and it only allows 20 segments so if you are running for an hour then 3 minute segment is your only choice. You are out of luck if you want to do a 4 minute interval with a 90 second rest as an example. Claerly these machines are simple not made for any runner that is even vaguely interested in proper structured workouts.

New update 8/2026

Was functioning well for me before the update including syncing with both my treadmill and bike. Was writing properly to Apple Health as well. This update reported “to fix” communication issues though they are now much worse. Every time I turn on my equipment there is no auto sync and the app sees it only as a new device to pair with. Furthermore, there is no feature to delete multiple copies of the same equipment

Not working

New to using the App, but so far it hasn’t tracked 2 of my workouts. I made sure Bluetooth was connected on the App and everything. Also, can you add a feature where ppl can log the workout if it didn’t record it? That would be so helpful.

F80 tread

App provides aggregate data of my wife’s and my workouts. Useless unless I can see just mine! Luckily, the machine separates our data.

TOA and Privacy

The app claims on the App Store that it collects no data, but the terms of the agreement for account creation require you to agree to share all your personal information with the app and that it may send the information to third parties.

Why does this app constantly break?

Long time user. Why does this app constantly change settings, views, and everything? Strava uploading worked all the time up until this year. Then it was broken, working, broken, on a different menu, then removed, then automatic, and now back to being an option which does nothing when pressed. Unsure why they can’t just make it work and then leave it that way.

Export Options Removed?

After a couple of months away from the app I see the app has been updated a bit. I was quite disappointed when I finished a run and went to share/export it that I could no longer share or save an image of the results. The only way to share is to Strava. Am I missing something? Plus, the export I sent to Strava didn’t seem to include HR data. Please tell me I’m missing something. We get used to features… enhance all day, but don’t take away functions we use and rely on!

Update:
Feels like the developer’s response didn’t understand what was happening. I have no interest in using Strava. At the time of my review, sharing to Strava was the ONLY OPTION available. I tried it, and disliked it. I’m not certain when it was restored but I once again have the option to share an image of the workout results. So my issue has been resolved.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback. Once your Strava account is connected, you no longer need to upload workout data manually. Your workout data will be automatically uploaded to Strava after each workout. To manage your Strava connection, please go to Settings → Health Apps in Sole+. If you prefer to upload a workout manually, you can also share it to Strava directly from the Workout Summary page after completing your workout. If you have any questions, please refer to the FAQ section in the Settings page. Update: Please check whether the Photo permission is enabled by going to: Settings → Apps → Sole+ → Photos. Make sure Sole+ has permission to access your photos.

Newest update

With the newest update it no longer exports to Strava. That’s one of the reasons I loved the app. But now, I no longer have a use for it.

No longer connects

I get constant "network not available" errors.

Incomplete & misleading Activity Log

I did a late evening walk - started at 11PM and ended a minute past the midnight. Instead of recording a 61min activity, the app recorded just one minute of activity since the date changed between the start and the end of the workout. Incomplete and inaccurate representation - makes me question if I could trust the activity log of the app. Disappointing that in this day and age, Sole’s app developers can make such a trivial mistake. The app in my phone has the latest update.

App Not Working

The app will not let me
sign in. Will not accept the password and user name that is correct. Keeps saying there is an error. Treadmill good, app is bad! Please fix the issues!

Distance no longer syncing to Apple Health

Since January 1st, the app no longer syncs my distance to the Apple Health app, but it still syncs the workout as a whole. All my privacy settings are properly configured. The Sole+ app is listed as “inactive” under walking/running distance in the Health app. Please fix the issue.

Removal of treadmill control features

We’ve been using the app to control our treadmill due to console issues but now we can’t because of the recent update so our treadmill is worthless. Why did Sole remove those features?

Background update broken - please FIX STILL BROKEN IN 2026

Unfortunately, the issue persists in February 2026, even with the latest version. If you use an Apple Watch, you really won’t care but if you are not using a smart watch, you still have to open the app manually and click on the activity tab or your workout will not be sent to Apple. What a pain!

While I like the app, overall, my biggest pet peeve is that the background update has never worked. This is a huge downside for me because now I am forced to manually open the app after each workout and click on the history tab to ensure that the workout record is being shared With the Apple health and fitness app. Please fix this and you will get a five star review from me.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. if your fitness machine has the TFT touch screen console, the machine automatically uploads the workout data to the cloud. Synchronizing the workout data to Apple health must be done by SOLE+ on the iPhone. This is why you have to tab the "history" page to do this thing. if your mahcine has the LED/LCD console without WiFi, you have to let the mahcine connect SOLE+ via bluetooth. SOLE+ will sync the workout data after you workout.

Cash grab

After updating the app it logged me out. It lost my username and treadmill. Now it won’t restore my purchases, won’t record my heart rate from my watch. It doesn’t play well with Apple fitness. It won’t record the workout into fitness unless you also record it with Apple fitness but then it’s recording twice. I should have got a better treadmill

Worst Fitness App I’ve Used

Since buying a Sole treadmill 2 months ago, I’ve had nothing but problems with the app. From multiple different types of syncing issues with Strava to data loss issues like HR (even though it’s clearly rendering the data on the treadmill screen. The data analysis in the app itself is very, very limited and basic. Each new update of the app seems to bring along new deal-breaker bugs. Wish I had gone with another brand of treadmill.
