What's New in Sonic Water Eject

5.0

September 19, 2026

Cleaning now sweeps your speaker's full range instead of playing one fixed tone. THE NEW SWEEP Every speaker has one frequency where its membrane moves the most, and it is different on every phone model. Older versions played a single tone and hoped it matched yours. Now each cleaning runs a full sweep from 90 Hz to 20 kHz, so it always crosses the frequency that actually moves the water. You can watch the frequency climb while it works. If you preferred the old fixed tone, you can switch back under Settings. A PROPER START The first launch now shows you what the app does, why a sweep beats a single beep, and how to hold your phone for the best result. It takes about twenty seconds and you can skip it any time. REDESIGNED HOME SCREEN Emergency Mode, Speaker Test, History, Frequency Generator and Noise Meter are now clear cards instead of a cramped row of icons. The cleaning mode you picked is easier to read at a glance, and the whole screen adapts to your phone size. BUILT FOR IPAD The app finally has a real iPad layout. In landscape it splits into two panels, with the dial and the Start button on one side and your modes and tools on the other. In portrait it uses one wide column. No more stretched phone screen. NEW DUST ANIMATION The dust removal modes now show a swirling vortex that speeds up as the sweep climbs, so you can see the cleaning working. KEEPS RUNNING Cleaning continues when you lock the screen or switch apps. Follow the progress on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. READY FOR IOS 27 Fully updated for iOS 27, with support for the latest iPhone and iPad models. ALSO FIXED Cleaning no longer stops when your audio route changes mid session. AirPods modes now unlock the moment you connect your AirPods. Speaker Test was rebuilt and is far more reliable. Text in Settings and How It Works is readable again on phones set to light appearance. Thanks for cleaning with us.

I used Water Eject after my iPhone fell into water, and it really saved my phone. The speakers started working normally again within seconds. The app is very easy to use and does exactly what it promises. I’m glad I had it installed.
