Works Fine, No Frills
This app works just fine, and is able to connect to my firewall using a domain configured with dynamic DNS. I can access all of the LAN resources allowed by client routes. I can see all of these details on the monitor tab of the app. I can only see log information by downloading or emailing the logs; it would be nice to see those details on my phone. Minus one star for that. Configuring a SonicWall can be a pain, and ChatGPT isn't very accurate. Minus another star. TZ670 with SonicOS 7.3.0-7012, iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 26.2, SSLVPN configured to use Microsoft Entra ID as a SAML 2.0 IdP with MFA, and Geo-IP filtering.

Horrible cisco anyconnect is so much better
Bug: won’t let me select a domain, and won’t let me continue without selecting one
I can’t add a connection because the vpn I’m using needs a domain to finish the config. I have a domain, and it shows up but it won’t let me select it, in the scrolling list. I can’t even scroll. The connection type was the same way except I could scroll it, so I could switch options, and switch back to the default. This app is useless at the moment.

Does not work reliably
Cannot connect with an authenticator
Cannot connect to my VPN with an authenticator. When switch the screen for approval, Sonilc wall app simply lost the network connection.
Useless app, does not work
Disconnects as soon as I move app in background to approve login in MFA app (ms autheticator app). This has not worked for more than a year and still a problem.
I never know if I’ll get a login
This client seems to break regularly. The current issue is it try’s to login and it won’t let me type a domain, but also won’t find one when connecting, so it gives an error that not all fields are filled in.

Latest iOS and can’t connect to a thing. Deleted it and all profiles and even after a reinstall ….nothing

Connects but won’t load
Ever since they came out with the newest update for the app it will say connected but the page won’t load. Not helpful when your trying to run a building as a facilities manager. The previous version worked fine anytime I needed it. They need to update their software so it’s compatible with iOS 16.2.

Doesn’t work again
SonicWall has mastered the art of offshoring and blaming all other technology for its own shortcomings. They are doing some new, great things such as allowing you to program a device from an iPhone but they persist in not beta testing products well and letting customers point out the bugs.
Still Cannot Connect in iPad

iOS 16.1 DOES connect
I've used this SonicWall app for many years. After updating to 16.1 I cannot connect. Meaning I have to get to my laptop or go into the office when I get a support call! I'm going to have to replace the VPN hardware at my clients if this doesn't get resolved soon. They will not be pleased when I get them the bill.

Slow iOS16 support but solid again
Edit to below: November 9 update has resolved the issue. I’d still recommend the developers track issues for headsup during the final August beta’s (that’s the whole idea)… it bears the burden, unlike many other apps, as being a mission critical business app, and a client for tens of thousands of dollars of hardware and software… so my expectations run a little higher than it feels like Sonicwall put in here.
But apart from that, it’s a solid app that gets full marks for functionality, logging and debugging. I appreciate the policy controls for passwords.

Finally updated for iOS 16
This app has worked great for years, but they seem really slow to update it. iOS 16 broke the previous version. Had to wait weeks for a fix. Now works fine again.
