See your Sonos!!

As an avid Sonos Believer and optimist, I downloaded SonoStats earlier this week. My biggest frustration was an inability to See my Sonos network. Who’s talking to who, with what protocol, who’s in charge, etc. SonoStats to the rescue. The UI is simple, it takes a min to figure what’s what, but after that you’re good.
Discovering your Sonos system starts mapping (automatically) your complete Sonos environment. The map is live and editable (moving speaker icons, etc.). The map edit functionality again, take a few moments. I didn’t expect the app to be much more than the live map. Having the ability to interact with that map are greatly appreciated. Depending on the size and complexity of your Sonos environment, you are full on and operational in minutes. I spent more time editing the map to my preferences. As you might expect, my Sonos network is a good size and more than enough complexity for a 3500 sq foot home. 22 Active Devices (Sonos One - ARC, multiple home theater configurations, mesh network w/75 ish devices (plugs., switches, tv lights, other miscellaneous automation devices). The initial adoption was more than a challenge, it took too long to sort out the mess. But that is not for today. Today is download SonoStat and sit back and see your Sonos network(s) visualized for the first time. Really, it that good. Thanks to the Developer for your efforts. You have a very appreciative user. I look forward to the next updates to the app. Cheers!
