Great App, but...
Tidal intergration needs an update.
When searching for an Album you see all different versions, but not why they differ. Usually it‘s streaming quality (bitrate) and it‘s impossible to pick the album with highest quality (e.g. Master) by choice.
Please put bitrate next to Album name and its perfect!
Thank you.

Tidal integration
It‘s a really good stuff, but the tidal integration does not works as fine as I would expect! The metadata as shown in the tidal app, would not always be transferred to sooloos. Often the sound stops, when choosing the next track.
There is special bug: it is not possible to start the track "Now that we found love“ from the band "Third World“ on their album "Journey to Addis“.

Funktionalität
Funktioniert unter unter dem neuersten IOS nicht mehr
Almost where the Control 15/Touch PC interface is
There is a difference in sorting by artist where the iPad app is top to bottom and the Control 15 is left to right. Other than that it is terrific!
SWIM Focus & Play Time Tracker issues
The extremely poor quality control is very frustrating. The latest update fixed the latest iPad bugs but broke the iPhone version:
New Bugs:
1. Under “Swim”/“Common Focus”: Current Focus & All Album tabs were removed (iPhone)
2. Album Cover Screen: The round dot for Play Time tracker is stuck, & cannot turn tracker on/off by touching the Album Cover (iPhone)
3. Under Tidal, My Library / My Playlist: Can only display first 20 tracks, “More” refresh not working (iPad and iPhone)
Improvements Needed:
1. Under “Swim”: “Saved Focus” are not in alphabetical order (both iPad & iPhone)
2. Under “My Library”: “Saved Focus” are not listed in alphabetical order (iPhone)
3. Tidal: can only display 20 items, have to refresh constantly; & no alphabetical sub-groups
4. Track quality is not displayed for TunIn Radio
5. High resolution tracks are only shown as “High Res” without sampling & resolution info
6. No native 192/24 & higher PCM and DSD supports
7. No remote access to library on iOS Apps when traveling

Graphical rich and beautiful interface
Best digital music system out there - Simply stunning with its Focus and Swim abilities, not to mention the audio quality is on another level!
Keep up the good work.

The current version for iPad 0-Stars
Just what is wrong with the developers? The prior version of this app for the iPad, though not perfect was far better than this enlarged version of the phone app.
We spent a lot of money on the hardware, why not reward us with an awesome app? After all, did Meridian not tease us with its promise of a great interface? This app is a far cry from a great interface!
Let's try a bit to produce a quality app and put back in the album art!

Thanks but
I am a sooloos user with iPhone6 iOS 8.1.2 as a controller.
It works well without freezing thanks for your effort.
One thing I regret is the picture of an album art ratio isn't proper with this updated app.

Never connects first time
I always have to select 'search again' after It fails to find the system core , same on the iPad too.
What a great app for an a amazing product!
I have been using this application for about a year now and am still fascinated by it. It's a total winner for Meridian and works well in conjugation with the iPad version and ControlPC and ControlMac. Tip: For best performance use your iPhone5 with 5GHz Wi-Fi.
What do u mean " coming soon" ?
I am looking forward to your new app.

iOS 5 problem
No longer works on either an iPhone 3GS or an iPhone 4 after upgrading to iOS 5. I had few problems with the app before the upgrade. Disappointing, and makes me wonder about Meridian's commitment to this part of the Sooloos platform. The system is much less useful in my multi-zoned installation absent the remote functionality provided by this app.

Great app
Great app, cover flow would be good. Would be willing to pay for better functions.
My Sooloos is now a fully fledged multi room system in my home.
Kids love it, wife loves it fantastic.
Thanks

Great hardware but a disappointing iPad app
I recently purchased the new Sooloos Media Core 200 to add digital streaming to an existing Linn system. Using an iPad app as a controller (and the fact the Linn equivalent UI is simply dreadful) persuaded me now was the time to buy into Meridian's digital streaming hi-fi vision.
Unfortunately whilst the hardware is extremely good (matching up to my CD player), the iPad app and the Mac software Meridian provide is functional but not up there with the best in terms of design, usability and makes the system feel pretty out of date! Compared to Apple's own iPod application this feels significantly less slick, in particular only working in portrait mode and making no use of the album cover art. The control: mac software that is used for editing meta data on tracks and ripping to lossless to transfer to the Sooloos is also fairly average and is also somewhat unreliable, hanging occaisionally when trying to rip certain discs if error correction is turned off.
Given the MC200 costs £2000 in the UK, I expect better of Meridian and hope they update both the Mac control app and th iPad app to take make the interface better. If apple can do it, and crestron and AMX are willing to invest in their UIs why not Meridian - it is after all the way we access all that great music and needs to be something that encourages rather than discourages exploring.
The cynical might say that its a marketing tactic to distance the entry level (!) MC200 from the Control 15 - which makes much better use of album cover art in particular. I hope thats not the case, and I'd even be willing to pay for better designed app if that was needed for Meridian to justify putting in some extra effort.
A for the Sooloos sound quality
C- for the app front-end. Must try harder.

Awesome iPhone app
Outstanding job Meridian sooloos team. App is more visually appealing than previous web based app.
The same
Like the rest of Sooloos software, this just doesn't work! Unfortunately, this system doesn't let me give it zero stars.
Perfect!
Large improovement compared to the http GUI
Overall all neccessary functions have been implemented.
Possible improovement:
Alphabetical scroll bar like in the iPhone contacts at Explore > Artists / Albums / Titles list
Congratulations for this App!

Excellent. Seemsless integration in seconds
From download to playing a song took 3 minutes. Amazing. Sooloos is better than ever with this.
