Does not record sound actively
I tried this out in a very noisy environment and it did not register any sound. There are no instructions or settings that I could find. I assume it does not work with my iphone 5s.

There may be a problem accessing the microphone. Please check if you have enabled the microphone input in the iOS settings.
Lite
I tried to use this app and it was impossible because of the ads covering up part of the screen. I deleted it.
well-designed and accurate
I'm an acoustical consultant, and tried out a few free sound level meter apps. This was the best I tried because it offers A, C and Flat weightings, calibration, fast and slow response, min, average, max and Leq levels. Nice job on this useful app.

Great free app
The DEP was just here in my apartment in NYC measuring sound with a $3000 sound meter. I tested three apps concurrently and this one was the most accurate.
Worthless to me
I play most of my music off my iPhone. I cannot run this application at the same time that I'm play my MP3s! What's with that? How do I play my MP3s and know the decibel level? You can't with this application.
