No new news in 4 days...
In addition to ads being displayed despite paying for no ads, it now appears the site is not getting updated with new stories.. Been 4 days...Looks like there may be other issues going on besides the ad scam.

Update to the below review:
The app is basically unusable. Ads are presented willy nilly, and it takes great effort and a bit of luck to get anywhere near the articles. Deleting the app and looking for a better replacement, which shouldn’t be difficult. Sad ending to what was once a good app.
Original review: The new format is awful. There is not enough of a writeup in the listing to glean what is in the article. One has to open almost every article to get an indication of what it is about. Go back to the previous format, and quickly.

Adverts adverts and adverts
If you like adverts come on down… Avoid this outlet its using other peoples stories to farm advert hits and make everything we know and love about money. Saddos.

You can't even open or use the app due to constantpopups and ads. Not worth the trouble

How Many times do I have to report this issue before u do something. YOUR SITE IS FALSE ADVERTISING. YOU ARE PROVIDING ARTICLES THAT REQUIRE VIEWING AN AD even when I pay for no ads on this app, BUT (Daily Galaxy News, for one). The developers of this app are misleading those of us that pay for no ads. FIX THIS PROBLEM. Either they refuse to show any article that requires an ad or they boldly display a message above the browser button, that this article requires a viewing of the ad.

I pay for no ads on this app, BUT they continue to show articles that when opened display a message that we must watch an ad to read the article (Daily Galaxy News, for one). The developers of this app are misleading those of us that pay for no ads. Your app makes it extremely difficult to read and enjoy when constantly being interrupted by ads. I am about done with this app.

Trying to read articles and constant ads are popping up, deleted the app after 10 minutes.

Update: I did hear back from the developer and I am glad to say that both issues have been resolved. I am thrilled because I read their news articles daily.
I have used this app for years and really enjoyed it and then two weeks ago full page ads started popping up despite paying a monthly fee for no ads. I reached out to the app support. They responded they are working on. At the same time the app started providing “inspirational quotes” in lieu of news ( 9 on one day’s ”news feed”).. ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM.

The ads have gotten out of control
Prior to a recent update, there were ads but they were fewer and could be dismissed much easier. Now, however, the new ads have made the app much less user-friendly. Disappointed.
