no but this app is literally the best for anyone wanting to learn vocabulary. recordings, feedback on how you pronounce, quizzes??? all that stuff that really helps you when you feel like you don't know where to properly learn languages. 10/10 🤩

This is a good app, but don’t use it as a complete beginner. I switched languages for this month, and it went from good to impossible. can almost never find phrases that I know, and this doesn’t help me minorias them.

THE BEST
This is probably THE BEST app on speaking a foreign language on here. I noticed everyone is using AI, but this uses REAL coaches for feedback. This app is LOADED with many, many real life scenarios…. Absolutely amazing. You first listen to a word or phrase, imitate it, and record it. Then listen to your voice… listen to the initial word/phrase and try to match the pronunciation. Then send it to your coach and await feedback, which is gold. My language coach in Japan is so nice but she will correct my mistakes, and responds quickly….which is priceless!!!!

Horrible inaccurate pronunciation
How on earth an app that claims to narrate stories uses robotic voices worse than those in Google translate is beyond me. Seriously, there are 10x better text-to-speech tools for free on the internet. For the among Speechling charges, it’s a shame they couldn’t even bother to hire real people to narrate their stories.

Slow it down
I rly like this app it’s great for prononciation but I wish the had a feature to pronounce wayyy slower cuz the slowed down version is still sometimes too fast to learn

指導部分は英語でしてほしいと言うことをお伝えしたけれども、
ほとんどしてもらえない。
通信欄のようなものをつけて、
英語などで通信できるようにしてほしい、と、
運営側に要求したが、
「全世界の講師に母国語で教えてもらっている、
それがスピーチリングのやり方だ」と返信されて一顧だにされない。
どういう所がダメなのか説明が解ら無ければ上達は、全くしないとまでは言わないが、非常に遅く、意味も薄いので止める事にした。
フランス語ではまだAIはいないかもしれないが、
おそらくAIでフランス語ができるアプリができたら、
AIの方が親切だろうと思う。

Excellent for practicing speaking
Im using this to learn French. I listen to the core curriculum passively on my headphones when I’m commuting and then once a day I spend 45 minutes translating English words to French from what I learned from listening. I have not used the Mentor Funktion but the totally free automated stuff on the app is more than enough to reach my goals. Excellent app that’s free to use!

I love the coaching feature!
I’ve been learning Korean by myself and I think I’ve been doing pretty good speaking so far. This app seems to have the best speaking accent; I’m not sure if it’s a real woman or AI, but it sounds very natural with intonation and everything. I love that you can get feedback on your voice recordings from a Native Korean speaker!! However, since there are many different ways to translate the English sentence you are given, I think some of those answers should be tweaked after you record and see what the sentence was the app wants you to speak. 그 여자 뭐하고 있어요? Vs 그녀는 무엇을 하고 계신가요?

Im an english speaker, learning italian, and I am very pleased with this app. I recommend it to any learner !
Not accurate for when to use
I started learning French but liked the idea of having someone hear what I’m saying and coach me. After paying the $29.99 monthly fee, on my 10th slide or so, they wanted me to say “Hello” in French. The proper word would be “Bonjour” however, they say it is “Salute”. Salute is only used when you know someone well. You would not say this to an acquaintance. They do not give any context to the word or situation. I feel like I have learned far more from Duolingo on their free app. Don’t waste your money like I did.

They said that there would be now payment and as a minor I was blown away. So I downloaded the app and only after a few words it already says that I have to pay. I don’t want to pester my parents with this, so I am just so ticked off right now.
