i havent even used the app yet, i just got it after going to the mall today.
first of all, ive not experienced any issues with creating an account.
second, i just read a review complaining about the oldest year that they have; 1920.
the reason im laughing is because this person is really complaining and putting a one-star review because the app wont go up to 111 years ago💀. its hard to believe someone is functioning and shopping from SPENCERS while they gamble with their life everytime they close their eyes😭

It won’t let me shop online??
Signed up and it won’t let me shop online, or even find a store.
Kinda dumb
I made an account in store and it wouldn’t let me login, and when I made a new account in the app every-time I wanted to shop it redirected me to the website. Which was exactly why I got the app, to shop in the app not the website. Just go to the website don’t waste your phone storage🥲

I have made multiple accounts trying to sign in this app is frustrating for a Gen Z!
App doesn’t work
I made an account in store. Came home to claim points to I made an account. Came back months later and it’s not even working to log in. What a strange app.
Creating an account
This app makes things complicated when creating an account on it. It wants our date of birth which if they want that they should have it set up that we type in our date of birth only not the way it is set up. Also I am not familiar with what all it asks because the date of birth is where I have gotten stuck at all because of the way it is set up. I was born January 01st, 1915 and the app's oldest year is 1920. Until this gets fixed I will only be using the website for shopping.

Amazing App!!
Probably one of the easiest apps i have on my phone. it keeps track of how many pieces of jewelry and tees i have bought. they even send coupons out which is totally awesome!! would definitely recommend the app because it works at any store. i also like how i can send it to my email to not have to have so many papers in my purse

DO BETTER AND FIX THIS USELESS APP or remove it immediately from the App Store
Edit: You guys seriously need to upgrade or just delete this app completely from the store because it’s worthless and it’s not worth using why would any of us want to use the app when you can’t even use it for shopping at least on the Hot Topic app you can actually pay for things and you don’t have to go to their website!

Annoying and pointless app!
Pretty much what all the other negative reviews say. It's pointless and it's not keeping track of my purchases like I was told it would.
I bought a bunch of gauges and was told I could bring them back whenever I need to size up! Great! Right? No. It doesn't keep the receipt like it should so I'm going to have receipt stapled to receipt stapled to receipt whenever I size up/change it out. How are you supposed to keep track of that without a stack of papers piling up. Do better -_-

Not letting me log in
i have an account for spencer’s online tried to download the app and won’t let me get in i put the same password i use said “error” tried to reset my password and change it and still said “error” what’s the point of having the app if it don’t even let me log in when i can log in just fine on spencer’s online.

Store does not honour punch cards
Bought 8 shirts this weekend at one location and 1 at another. I got one punch on my card despite giving them my phone number and showing them my app. So the 2 free shirts I should have qualified for were not received. They also did not apply my $20 off a purchase over $70 promo code. App (and store) are not worth it as they do not honor/apply their own promos

how to improve it
The way to improve the app is adding actual products to this one, why create the app if you can just go to the web page and check whatever’s Spencer’s Nation is selling? In my opinion, the app is useless if it’s only used to gain “points”. I know ‘just press the link, duh’ but still, the app can be improved with adding the actual products to the application :3

Won’t even let me log in
I just don’t understand this, I know my number and password and it’s just not working. when I do the reset password (which I already know I don’t even need to do) it will tell me the number is invalid or just say it can’t be reset, I went in stores YESTERDAY and used the same number. It’s annoying to troubleshoot even logging in.
