What's New in Splits
1.0.2
July 25, 2026
Splits 1.0.2 - Sharper eyes The classifier got smarter, and it re-reads your entire history the first time you open this version. No re-sync needed. Here's what it now sees: • Hard runs that don't pace evenly - city stops, hills, gates, dogs - used to sneak into "easy". Not anymore. If you spent most of a run in Zone 4-5, Splits calls it what it was, and tells you why. • Tiny recordings (the accidental 400m when you forgot to stop your watch) no longer earn confident labels. They're marked for what they are: too short to read. • A tracker left running through a two-hour walk is no longer your "longest run of the year". Long runs now have to actually be runs. Because run types feed everything else - your training balance, your runner type, your stimulus-and-response links - expect those to get more honest too. If your "% easy" number shifts after this update, that's not a bug. That's the point. Also in this version: • A better first-run experience: if Splits can't find any runs in Apple Health, it now says so clearly and helps you fix access, instead of showing you an empty app. • More resilient Apple Health reading - transient hiccups now retry instead of looking like missing data. • Clearer trial info: exactly what's free, for how long, and that nothing is charged today. Splits still runs entirely on your phone. No account, no server, no data leaving your device. Found something misclassified? Tell it - corrections are always yours to make.
