Even with bright lights it’s too dark to see anything. Doesn’t record swing.
Cant detect swing
This app is horrendous. I tried the driver swing speed assessment, it wouldn’t detect my swing. I had to swing about 10 times before it detected my first swing. This was in a brightly sun lit morning room in my house. Then the following swings took about 15-20 attempts before detection. All in all, did about 60 swings out of my shoes to get the 3 swings needed for the assessment. Once finished it told me my average driver swing speed was 35mph but I usually average around 90-110 with launch monitors. Horrible

Seems like a strong golf coach app
Was able to use it to analyze my swing face on and the suggestions confirmed the laziness in my swing creating inconsistencies. The recommendation drills and practice is spot on.
Solid, not perfect
Legitimately helped me identify a few things in my swing that I hadn’t even considered for myself. Also raised some false flags, but worth it overall!
Doesn’t work!
App makes it so hard to use. Ive tried to import perfect slo-mo vids, it doesn’t work. I tried to take videos in app it doesn’t work and it didn’t even save either of those videos when I pressed save on them. Unsure if it’s my device and app is just not working good for me. But honestly this app seems to be a big waste of my time.

This App is amazing!
I was a bit skeptical at first. But after my first time using it, I started noticing immediate improvements in my swing and ball contact. You can analyze your swing from behind you or face on, so it picks up different angles and flaws in your swing. After it analyzes your swing, it shows you what needs improvement. It then shows you a video of what it should look like and gives you drills on how to improve that swing flaw. It also tracks your progress so you can see the improvement in your swing score. The best part is it’s very affordable at $15/month.

Import doesn’t work
This is more of a request than a review. You can edit videos on your iPhone to make them slow mo, and then when you edit them externally and reimport them to the camera roll, the app won’t add them cause their are in the slow mo library/ album. I wish I could import any video. Furthermore, it’s supposed to be AI - I’d expect ai to figure out how to slow mo the swing part of the video without my intervention, but that’s a whole other thing. Please allow to import regular videos and I’ll update my review Thank you

Terrible
These reviews have to be fake, I’ve never got this app to recognize videos consistently. It won’t let you edit anything you import so it better be perfect, in app video recording is terrible.
Feels like developers don’t even test app
So many annoying features, like goals popping up that you didn’t select, too many clicks between swing and analysis. Now it is even worse as they’ve added unnecessary bloating features like pushing an AI “insights” which feels very redundant. Do more user acceptance testing or this will become garbage.

VERY User UNfriendly
There’s no way to take an assessment from the DTL view despite it being an advertised feature. If you think you’re gonna be able to benefit quickly with this app, forget it. App is very technical and they don’t provide detailed instructions anywhere. They, or someone, can do better at this price. Now, to further antagonize their paying customers, Version 2.33.0 has been released and claims that “Hand and Clubface Path measurements are available“for all Subscribers, even free subscribers”. This is piled on top of a feature that bypasses the IPhone “update apps” feature and only alerts you to update when you open the app. This clever feature makes the app unusable until it’s updated from the open app, really annoying when you’re at the range without cell service or wifi 😡. I’m a Paid Player Subscriber and the Hand and Club Face path measurements are NOT included in the update to Version 2.33.0. I spent valuable practice time trying to access that measurement, only to have Sportsbox tell me it’s only available for Pro subscribers.
Then (7/9/25), once you are using the app to review swings, it shows what your chosen measurements are and if they're in Range, but doesn't provide any way to access what the correct range is without having to close out and end the practice session and back all the way out to the Home Screen, drill back down to find what the the measurement, read what the correct range is, then write those measurements down on the notebooks that most driving ranges have readily available 😜 (screenshots don't work as you have to close your training session to look at your screenshots). Had great hopes Sportsbox would be user friendly enough to help my game, but until they streamline the app so that it's more useful than frustrating, it's more waste of time and money to be of very much use.

Update on4/8/26: Swing Assessment doesn't work due to "move to an area with better light", despite it being a bright, sunny day 😩. How many more glitches can they put in this wannabe app?

Doesn’t work
Trash app, cant even analyze swing. These reviews are fake
Really want to like it
It just doesn’t work. Not sure if it’s my setup or my height at 6’-3” I get the message move into the camera take a step forward or back swing etc. In about 12 attempts I managed to get one recording. Frustrating.

Inconsistent data
The swing capture is terrible. You can swing forever before the app captures a swing and then when it actually says it captured a swing it only captures the end of the swing. The app likes to tell you what you did wrong but doesn’t tell you at what point in your seing it’s collecting the data. The app would be pretty great if it just worked as expect.

Import does not work
This app sucks. I tried uploading a slow motion video in 120 fps that I took with my phone and it strips the video of slow motion and fails to import. The fact that this app does not work with iPhones slow motion videos makes no sense considering it’s on APPLES APPSTORE.
Bad app execution
This app while it has good data is clunky and not intuitive.
If I have a session where it is not uncommon for me to hit 50 swings that are recorded on Sportsbox studio and I want to download a specific video in the session I have no idea how to do that. There are no instructions on how to do this either. I want to be able to download a specific video from that session so I can import into my practice setup by a coach. The problem is that the coach setup for Sportsbox studio is different from my actual coach hence the reason for needing to download a specific video in the set.
On to the next problem. When I try to look at specific metrics in the app I see that some metrics are locked saying it requires a 3d player membership. When I check the membership level I have that level and don’t know how to unlock the metrics.
Overall the app needs a way to see all swings from an assessment t session. If you are only supposed to have one swing in an assessment then don’t allow multiple or make different posts.
Basically try to set the user up for success instead of failure with the UX. Hopefully improvements come soon

Can’t Sign in
Paid for the premium version of the app and I can’t sign in. I try to sign in and the login page refreshes and asks to sign in again (no error).
Might as well cancel my subscription if I can’t even log into the app.

Don’t buy if you have an iPhone
Despite filming in slow move the app refused to accept any of my videos were 120 frames per second so the app is completely useless if you have an iPhone.
