Not very happy right now with the app. Woke up and I was logged out and when I tried to log back in, it doesn’t recognize my email nor phone number that I thought I used. I even reset for both but still unable to login so this is frustrating as a parent that uses this app for their daughter sports team and now I’m unable to log back in to see anything.

Don’t go for Red Cross swimming class
Red Cross swimming classes will be canceled without any concrete reason. They will not refund your money. No class reschedule. Hopeless management.

Horrible
My school uses SportsU for our sports activities and it’s always glitching half the time you can’t even log in because it signs you out and you CONSTANTLY have to delete and redownload to get it to work, but some people with parental controls because the app is used for schools doesn’t let you delete. Now you stuck without being able to see your team messages and can’t contact any coaches because it illegal. Very disappointed with the app and the amount of bugs because that’s not all of them that’s just the main one.

Dark Mode paywall
This is an amazing app as a student athlete being in both band and soccer it is an easy way to keep up with any and everything that comes up between the two the only problem I have that doesn’t give SportsYou its full 5 stars is the simple fact that dark mode is being held behind a paywall. I get really bad headaches from looking at bright screens too long, so everything on my phone is on dark mode to prevent that, but going on SportsYou to get info that I need (And most of the time it’s really long paragraphs that I have to read through to get info I need) I get extremely bad headaches just because of the light mode. I would love love love if dark mode was pulled from behind the paywall for any and everyone to use

Messages stuck on "loading" from notifications
I have about 5 sports apps for my kids and this one is on par with the rest. I like that it allows for multiple groups and tagging roles (parent, player, etc). When I click on a notification though (from my phone), a windows opens that says "loading" but it never loads. So I have to into the app and just hope the most recent is the same as the notification.

I’ve had this app for more then 3 years..today however it signed me out and the password ive had for years and haven’t changed doesn’t work and my phone number isn’t working saying it’s invalid.. I need my account back it has all my sport groups and I have no way to check the summer workouts.!
Alerts open to a blank screen since last update
The app has been great, but since the last update that introduced Passkeys, all alerts are opening to a blank screen and not the actual message or notification that it tried to open.

Lacks Basic Function
I’ve been using this app for years and been asking for basic functionality and they still have not delivered. You cannot underline capitalize or italicize anything in a post. Sometimes you just wanna call something out and not having that functionality is just ridiculous. Not being able to replied directly back to your team so they get notified when you answer the question they’ve asked is also not helpful. We’re relying on kids to come back to the app to see if I answered that may or may not happen. This app could be amazing, but the functionality is just not there. Unfortunately, I’m forced to use it because the school wants to.

no ability to sync with personal calendar
app is fine except that i don’t see a way to automatically sync with my google calendar and i do not enjoy having to put each event in manually. seems crazy in this age where syncing is the norm. even the pro version does not appear to have this. only reason i am using this is because my school requires it. GameChanger is so much better

It was once great
Well we have used SportsYou for years and it was a great app until they decided to charge people to see images posted on the app. Guess it’s time to look elsewhere.
DARK MODE SHOULD BE FREE
Bro overall good app but why are they getting so greedy. Why on earth is dark mode a “pro” feature like what is going on. Plz make it for all
Exceptional alternative
I was using texting as a means of communication last year. With two seasons under my belt I understand the power and safety protocols in this format. It's an exceptional alternative that I think more high schools will adapt to in the future. The learning curve is not to steep and I've yet to use all the features.

Good app but can’t make a new chat
Mostly good
Functions well with a few quirks. One feature I feel like it really needs is an option for Administrators to be able to delete individual messages in a chat. I use it for a high school team and the complete inability to control player messages (through deleting or restricting privileges) keeps this from being perfect.

INFURIATINGLY BUGGY
I don't think there's been a single time where I've opened the app and been able to accomplish my goal without having to force quit and restart at least once. Trying to upload more than 5 pics? Get ready to freeze. Sensing a message? Freeze. Making a group post? Freeze. The idea behind this app is EXCELLENT, but the functionality is TRASH. Even parents have had to completely uninstall and reinstall the app to get things to work correctly. If not for my school requiring this, I would NEVER use it again.
