Good, but why charge!
This is a good app for team communication. But it’s no different than GroupMe or any other group messaging app. So my issue is WHY CHARGE just to use Dark mode when that’s an iOS feature already! You can charge for app features to use, but making us pay for dark mode is unacceptable.

Calendar Moment
I know how tedious all the team apps can be, but Sports You really had a moment that shone through darkness. I was able to connect the calendar directly with my phone calendar on iOS, and wow it was nice. Only four stars because I haven’t been explored the app enough yet, but that calendar feature was really helpful

Best sports league app
This app has been extremely helpful in the smooth running of our beach volleyball leagues. This is the 50th year we have run events and this app makes this year the easiest one out of 50. We strongly recommend it.
Perfect for my team
Moved to sY from WhatsApp and I’m so glad I did! Love the seperate tabs for media and files and that members are organized by roles. I may pay for the upgrade!
Notification Sound
Notification sound selection would be nice. Text is a simple ping. SU is full second sound. Also, if the admin changes the schedule, then the end user must refresh before the change is seen. End users range from tech savvy to novice.

Logged out
Not very happy right now with the app. Woke up and I was logged out and when I tried to log back in, it doesn’t recognize my email nor phone number that I thought I used. I even reset for both but still unable to login so this is frustrating as a parent that uses this app for their daughter sports team and now I’m unable to log back in to see anything.

Don’t go for Red Cross swimming class
Red Cross swimming classes will be canceled without any concrete reason. They will not refund your money. No class reschedule. Hopeless management.

Horrible
My school uses SportsU for our sports activities and it’s always glitching half the time you can’t even log in because it signs you out and you CONSTANTLY have to delete and redownload to get it to work, but some people with parental controls because the app is used for schools doesn’t let you delete. Now you stuck without being able to see your team messages and can’t contact any coaches because it illegal. Very disappointed with the app and the amount of bugs because that’s not all of them that’s just the main one.

Dark Mode paywall
This is an amazing app as a student athlete being in both band and soccer it is an easy way to keep up with any and everything that comes up between the two the only problem I have that doesn’t give SportsYou its full 5 stars is the simple fact that dark mode is being held behind a paywall. I get really bad headaches from looking at bright screens too long, so everything on my phone is on dark mode to prevent that, but going on SportsYou to get info that I need (And most of the time it’s really long paragraphs that I have to read through to get info I need) I get extremely bad headaches just because of the light mode. I would love love love if dark mode was pulled from behind the paywall for any and everyone to use

Messages stuck on "loading" from notifications
I have about 5 sports apps for my kids and this one is on par with the rest. I like that it allows for multiple groups and tagging roles (parent, player, etc). When I click on a notification though (from my phone), a windows opens that says "loading" but it never loads. So I have to into the app and just hope the most recent is the same as the notification.

Great for sports although I recently am unable to create a team? Great as an athlete but not as much for a coach.

Sports you
I’ve had this app for more then 3 years..today however it signed me out and the password ive had for years and haven’t changed doesn’t work and my phone number isn’t working saying it’s invalid.. I need my account back it has all my sport groups and I have no way to check the summer workouts.!
Alerts open to a blank screen since last update
The app has been great, but since the last update that introduced Passkeys, all alerts are opening to a blank screen and not the actual message or notification that it tried to open.
