Missing website features
No option to pay in person and can’t book 2 appointments (add guest) in the app. Have to start from scratch to do so, then when you are ready to book after choosing time, there’s no button to complete the booking.

TOO MUCH!!
I’m quite irate about the very aggressive money grabbing ads that you have popping up after I complete a booking.
I’m similarly annoyed about the constant attempts to make me sign up for marketing material. No means no!
I’m so concerned when navigating this app because I never know when I accidentally click on the wrong button and sign up for spam and unwanted subscriptions.
Please do better! I’m already a user of the app, not someone for you to prey on…

Always crashes
This app is terrible. I can’t book any appointments through the app because it always kicks me out of the screen and says “sorry, try again later”. I’m currently trying to reschedule an appointment. I’m supposed to get a code. It says “code failed to send”. Then it says “an error occurred”. So I can’t do anything at all.

Ads after Ads
When I check out, I saw 7 Ads popups in a row. Plus, why you guys need full calendar access permission to add calendar event? I just don’t understand.
Customer service is terrible, consider better alternatives 💯
As a business owner, I cannot recommend Squire based on my experience. I run a shop with 10+ + + barbers, and this level of customer service is completely unacceptable. While I’m trying to run a business and take care of my clients, Squire leaves paying customers waiting days for a response and constantly passes them from one support agent to another. Every time you explain your issue, you’re explaining it to someone new. No one takes ownership, no one follows through, and no one seems to care about the impact on your business.

The software has potential, but the customer service completely ruins the experience. I also found that some of the booking and scheduling limitations made it less flexible for running a busy barbershop. As a barber shop owner, I expected a platform that worked with my business, not against it just hope you never have a problem, because that’s when you’ll find out what kind of company you’re really dealing with.

Easy to use
Not much to say but that this is so much easier to use than having to text my son’s barber all the time. My only thing is having to pay the full amount for the haircut when I’m just trying to schedule the appointment. Maybe a deposit instead? Just a thought. Other than that glad to have this app back.

Watch out for bait and switch
This time when i booked my barber appointment, squire advertised for super.com, promising a $20 credit. After entering all my personal information and credit card information, super said my upload file limit was reached. It was a 877kb single file receipt, their system said they accept 10mb files. Super slimy and scammy, shame on you squire for taking a cut from both local barbers and and sleezeball fintech companies.

Now charges upfront
The behaviour of this app has changed in that it now charges you upfront for an appointment that might be weeks away. It used to take your card and only charge you day of but it seems a haircut is now something that requires you to loan money to Squire in advance of the service, something that not even most restaurants demand. I’ll just have to leave appointments until the last minute unless this changes.

Scheduling doesn’t work
Every time I try to reschedule or cancel an existing appointment I just get an “internal service error” message or “sorry something went wrong”. It’s easier to just call the shop and book directly.
Best App to set appointments
Very easy to use and straight to the point. Booking appointments is quick, simple, and hassle free. I’ve never had any issues using the app. Highly recommend! 💈
