being forced to update when the noted improvements are just minor is very irritating. For many users who use it occasionally literally every use is met with a forced update page.

Hi Justin, thanks for the honest feedback. We don't force updates lightly. They usually cover security, stability or behind-the-scenes fixes that keep things running smoothly on the platform. We'll pass this on to the team to see how we can make it less disruptive moving forward.
Cannot withdraw funds
App continuously crashes when attempting to verify identity. Without identity verification, you cannot withdraw your own funds. The company is happy to accept deposits however. Absolute scam app

Can’t directly put usd into the stake balance to force you to pay fees on conversion + buying, most people won’t understand that and it’s a shame…

Downgrading to 1 star - Daily and yearly High/Low disappearing is a deal breaker!
11th June: One should learn from your UX team to how to break a perfectly working UI. The new dark red color with dark black text for prices when stock is trading in loss is awfully difficult to look at in dark mode in a dark room. It was perfect in the past.

Intuitive UX/UI Great Stock App
I’ve tried many stock platforms, but Stake is the only one that truly helps me understand the stocks and ETFs I invest in. The recent update, which improves the ETF investment breakdown and the user interface, makes it much easier to grasp the stock data.
Although other ‘traditional’ stock platforms may excel in certain areas, they are often less intuitive compared to Stake. Keep up the great work and keep improving the platform.

I was pleased with service and platform for a few years. I even recommended family and friends to Stake.
My account was closed without warning, causing me serious problems due to their payments partner Airwallex. Do not use. Do not join. Do not trust them with your money. No recourse. No help. Lost money.

Get rid of the stake accumulate pop up when withdrawing
I’ll change my review when this is fixed. You can advertise stake accumulate, do not do it when I have already set up my withdrawal so that you can accidentally click on it and need to start from scratch.

Abysmal onboarding process and support. It’s evident they don’t know what they’re doing. I went to Interactive Brokers instead.

Useless update
The recent update I have done today 18/5/2026 is just useless. Why play around with the perfect colour theme that was already there and changed it to some gay colour theme. Placing an order and that useless wallpaper comes up making it weird. Just fix it to previous version.
Fees are insane
Check out IBKR and Betshares. Better fees and product imo
Withdrawal problems and delayed action from STAKE team
Terrible response to a withdrawal concern. Went back and forth for a month with the same default email reply. Will never use this app again. Terrible customer service and no hast in getting problem sorted as they take a win by putting your withdrawal money into a massive account to gain interest and earn themselves money. Once again will never use again.

Funds don’t clear
I sold my stocks 7 days ago, funds still haven’t cleared in my account. Instant banking has been around for 10 years and these guys can’t even get you your own money back within 24/48 hours

From the $500 minimum on the asx, then had to wait 3 days for my money to be “cleared” and now another 2 days for it to transfer back to my account, where as I can transfer money to the other side of the world instantly and use trading 212 which is a hell of a lot better especially with ai analysis
