The worst
I’m not usually prone to hyperbole but this app is utterly pathetic. I can’t watch 15 mins of tv on my Apple TV without it lagging or completely crashing altogether. Don’t even get me started on the recording. It will show as recorded, or recording. Then when you go to view it, poof! Disappeared. I went with Start because they had an app instead of a box available. Jokes on me. The app hasn’t been updated in months. It’s gotten even worse since the last AppleTV software update because there is no maintenance of the app. Just maddening. I’m going to end up dropping my other start.ca services because of this. It’s pathetic. This stuff shouldn’t be this hard

Picture freezes
Start watching a program and the picture will suddenly freeze. Change channels and go back and it still won’t load. Eventually it will tell you there’s an error. Changed channels to another program and it happens again. This is happening far too often anymore. I like the internet but not the tv. Might be time to look for something different

Hmmm… Canada ONLY??
I came to download this app for the purpose of watching one specific show…. PROVIDENCE!! and I see someone else is watching it too! @Lake2sea 😸 But now that I see all these negative reviews I don’t know if I should keep the download! Second question !! Is this the same app as the START TV app I see a couple apps above this one in the Apple Store? Do I need to have both of them installed?! Edit: BOOOOOO!!!🙀🙀😿😿😿 Had to reduce my star rating…Guess all this doesn’t even matter!! Just found out I have to live in Canada to even use this app! Oh well! (Just a little suggestion… maybe it should say “in Canada ONLY” somewhere right upfront so that people will know…. They actually advertise for this app in America…what’s the point of that?? 🤷♀️🤷♀️)
