Déçue

L’appli ne fonctionne plus j’ai retrouvé les livres que j’avais commencé mais ils sont maintenant en anglais pas moyen de les passer en français
Le seul message qui s’affiche est que le serveur a perdu la connexion et qu’il faut actualiser la page
Plus rien ne fonctionne même en ayant mis à jour l’appli et je ne peux plus terminer les livres
Vraiment dommage car les livres sont très intéressants mais je vais me tourner vers une autre appli de lecture

Rewards have halved

I’ve loved this app and use it daily. The stories a great, but last couple of days the daily rewards have almost halved. The daily reading has dropped from 90 minutes to 30. So not really happy with starry novel at the minute.

Scammed

I paid the promotional $10.99 for the first month and immediately after purchase, all the chapters became black so I couldn’t read it. I closed the app completely multiple times and reopened it only for the chapters to now be locked and telling me I needed to pay an additional $20. I have screenshots of all of this, confirming my subscription on the app and in the playstore under my subscriptions and pictures of the black screen and locked chapters. Save your money and look else where to read. I allot myself a certain amount of money per month to read and this just took away from what I have available for myself to enjoy my down time so….. thank you for that.

Bummed

This app is really terrible. I have 15 minutes to read a couple of chapters and the app kicked me off and I lost my 15 minutes of reading time. This is not a good app. Makes me bummed as I was enjoying the story I was reading 🤷🏻‍♀️

I use my coins to read the free stories but it never saves them so I always have to restart and get more coins if there any way to fix it please help thank you for your time

Frustrated Reader

Great content, but frustrating platform. I have plenty of points to spend and would gladly spend more time on the app using those points but my free reading time each day is limited. Very frustrating!!Don’t plan to use the app after I finish this current story, not worth the frustration of getting cut off when I have the time to read.

Disappointed

I was reading a book on this app when I realized as soon as I finished a chapter it would lock so I wouldn’t be able to go back and reread. I was reading with points (for free) so I had to be ok with that. Recently I took a break from reading my story to come back and find out I can only finish reading it if I was to subscribe. That wasn’t the case before. I’m deleting this app.

I paid for the month of unlimited reading and never received that. There's also nobody to contact either. I am now stuck with a handful of addicting chapters I can not read.

Overly censored and no way to change it

Reading a book with a bunch of letters and stars to hide vulgar language and no way to turn it off so that the reader can read as the author intended. If you don’t want to display the book as written don’t sponsor the author. I wasted $ not realizing all books would be censored even when I’ve selected over 18 and provided a valid date or birth. Supports response was less then helpful and I quote

If the censored words didn't change after setting your reading mode to "Adult," please be advised that we have created standards for managing content on our platform to ensure that StaryNovel remains a safe and respectful app and complies with regulations for user-generated content (UGC) in various app stores. Please understand that any inappropriate or sensitive language included in a story's content will trigger our audit mechanism, and inappropriate words will be automatically blocked.

Dysfonctionnement

Depuis quelques temps comme d autres avis je n ai plus accès aux livres que je souhaite. (Loups en français)Même ceux que j ai lu ne sont plus trouvables si on fait une recherche. (Heureusement ils sont encore dans la bibliothèque)J ai envoyé une demande via la FaQ et j ai pas de retour. C est dommage car j étais très satisfaites de l application jusqu à présent.

Stories gone

I have no stories showing up for authors. I search for an author, it says 16 stories for example, and then it’s just blank. Every author I try is the same. Red Johnson, Unwise Owl, Aura Rose, Aurora Archer, all blank. I pay a lot monthly for this app and then pay extra for Dreame to read stories I should be getting on this app. Very annoying.
