If you go to about and hit the web url while cooking there is no way to get back to your queue.
It would be
Good to have a preview feature as sometimes you get to the end of cooking and it surprises you with now pace it in the oven. Would be good to know beforehand so you could have your over preheated.

My go to every time.
Excellent App I never forget to use it. Beef deserves to be cooked right and the risk of stuffing it up is costly. You can be sociable and not worry about overcooking.

As another reviewer mentioned, it would be great if there was a tone, or sound when it was time to turn the meat, or remove it from the heat.

This is possibly the best meat cooking app, the only thing that would make it better is if it made sounds when to turn the stake and when its finished cooking

Gute Idee, grausliche Bedienung
Die Hälfte aller Tastenbefehle werden nicht angenommen, man muss die App neu starten, um Eingaben ändern zu können. Einmal bei lfd Grillaktion geschlossen, informiert sie zwar noch, wann gewendet werden muss, aber nachschauen kann man nicht mehr, weil sie beim Aufruf den Startbildschirm zeigt und auf Tastendruck gar nicht reagiert. Da haben die Entwickler noch ein paar Hausaufgaben.

Habe alles nach den Anweisungen der App gemacht. Steak war in der Mitte roh. Kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen, gibt einige Apps die besser sind, daher 1 Stern.
Timing are all wrong
This app has the timings completely wrong. Was advised that a 3cm thick fillet steak on a gas burner would be done in 6 minutes (3mins per side)??? What have these guys been smoking?

Was better before
App was working perfectly before but now the stop timer and clear timer buttons don’t work. Have to shut down the app to restart the timer

Great idea but doesn’t deliver
Used it twice and both times my steak was raw inside as it hadn’t cooked long enough.

I have been using Steak mate for years, it’s like the post service, it always delivers. I can recommend especially for tenderloins.

This is the best app. I buy steaks so much more now as have the confidence I’m not going to mess up the cooking times. It’s bang on.
Please can you do other meats like pork chops and lamb cutlets.
Also for the people who comment about the temperature of the pan it’s easy. Make the pan real hot and then as soon as you put it in turn to med/high heat. That’s it. Simple.

Missing elements
The thickest cut you can choose for your meat is 4cm ... really? Needs to be at least 7cm and there is no guide for oven cooking a steak (reverse sear method)
