About

Your step count is already being measured. StepClash makes it a race. Create a race, share the join code, and watch the board move all day. Steps come from Health on your iPhone and Apple Watch, so there is nothing to log and nothing to remember — you walk, the number climbs, the standings sort themselves out. A LEAD THAT MEANS SOMETHING Steps typed into Health by hand, or written by another app, still appear on your board — clearly marked, and not counted. Only what your iPhone or Apple Watch actually recorded goes towards a race. Everyone can see the same thing, so nobody has to take anybody's word for it. BUILT AROUND THE DAY, NOT THE CLOCK Today's figure stays provisional until midnight in the race's own timezone rather than yours, so a race with friends in another country still finishes fairly. Standings freeze 36 hours after a race ends, which leaves room for a watch that syncs late. WHAT YOU GET • ON AIR — today's live figure, and exactly where you stand • RACES — start one, or join with a code. Sign-ups close at the first whistle, so nobody joins once they can see who is winning • SQUAD — the people you race against • ME — your card, your best day, and what you get told about YOUR HEALTH DATA STAYS YOURS Raw Health samples never leave your phone. StepClash sends one number per day per race — the total — and nothing else. No advertising, no trackers, no selling anything to anyone. Walk more because someone you know is walking more.

What's New in StepClash

1.1

August 27, 2026

A lot has landed since launch: • Duels — call out a rival and race head-to-head • Replay — watch any finished race play out, step by step • Season Recap — a shareable card when a race ends • Notifications — a bell for taunts, and alerts when a race gets close • QR codes — join a friend's race by scanning instead of typing a code • Late-join control — race creators decide whether sign-ups stay open after the start • Health check — the app now tells you if your phone stops syncing, instead of your rank quietly going stale • Lifetime and best-finish badges on your profile Plus a steadier board and a number of smaller fixes reported by early testers.
