Natural Language Search Type a phrase on the Activity screen and Steps turns it into filters, so last month's long runs or yesterday's yoga are a sentence away. Workout Effort Rate how hard a workout felt on a 1-10 scale, saved to Apple Health. Comparison now includes effort against recent workouts of the same type. Heart Rate Zones The heart rate chart now colors itself by your zones from Apple Health, and a live watch workout shows those zones as you go. Workout Calendar Widget A new home-screen widget marks each trained day with that day's activity, in medium, large and extra large. Coach in Workout Chat The coach assessment now opens in the chat, where you can copy a reply, add the next workout to Reminders, and get answers in tables drawn from your history. Siri and Spotlight Siri can open a workout or a Stepboard, search your workouts, and act on the one currently on screen. Workouts and Stepboards also surface in Spotlight, and Siri can send the card you are looking at to Messages, Notes or any app that takes a photo. Unfolded on iPhone Duo Open iPhone Duo and Home becomes a dashboard with larger insights beside a History calendar that can pick a week or a month. In Activity, each month keeps a sticky summary of trained days and totals while the cards scroll, and a workout opens with stats on the leading edge so the map can take the rest of the inner display. Layouts adapt across Home, Activities, Insights, workout detail and tracking.
