Steps is built and maintained by just one developer, and that premium upgrade is what keeps the app running while letting me keep step tracking, stats, and the core widgets free for everyone, with no ads. The Real Deal

I am writing this review because for the first time I have found an app that delivers on its promises. I have worked with several step and fitness apps and they have all left me wanting. STEPS is everything you need to motivate yourself to get with the program. One huge benefit is that the counter is accurate. It mirrors your Apple Health app beautifully. The information it provides is easy to navigate and very rewarding. They even go so far as to make it fun!! There are also added features like an AI that will break down how well you did on your exercise and a new 3D map that shows the route you followed. There is an option for a monthly subscription but it is so worth it to pay for the ONE TIME lifetime subscription. There are no ads, no hassles, no issues.

I am not a developer or an influencer. I am just an old guy who found quality amongst a sea of junk. I am writing this because it is worth it.

Thanks for flagging this, and sorry the GPS tracking let you down. We'd really like to get this fixed for you. A couple of things that often help: make sure Steps has "Precise Location" and "While Using the App" enabled in iOS Settings > Privacy > Location Services, and that location access isn't being limited in Low Power Mode. If it's still not working, please reach out to us with your device model and iOS version so we can dig in directly. We're committed to making this right.

Exactly what I was looking for

This does everything I wanted without unnecessary bloat, all the while having an amazing UX/UI that fits into Apple’s design system while still being unique.

Made iOS 10x Better for Me

I really missed built in step tracker widgets and metrics on iOS that were at par with android. Then comes the Steps App. It not only beats every iOS step tracker out there, but any step tracker app ever. The UI is so good. I just love the widgets. And most things are FOR FREE. Pay when you can. I just love the app.

Понравилось, но хотелось бы одну доработку

Приложение очень понравилось. Красивое, понятное, большое количество разной статистики, приятные виджеты.

Единственное, при смене дневной цели, она меняется и за предыдущие периоды. Хотелось бы, чтобы дневная цель менялась с текущего дня, так как я постепенно увеличиваю количество шагов. Или хотя бы, чтобы приложение спрашивало: применить изменение цели ко всем прошлым периодам или с текущего момента.
А так 1.02 я повысила цель по шагам и вся статистика за январь сломалась(
В жизни человека бывают разные периоды, когда нужно уменьшать или увеличивать дневную норму, при этом чтобы статистика сохранилась в каждый период актуальная.

Спасибо за подробный отзыв и отличное предложение. Вы правы, изменение дневной цели не должно ломать прошлую статистику. Это поведение уже исправлено в последней версии приложения. Теперь изменение цели применяется корректно и не влияет на предыдущие периоды. Пожалуйста, обновите приложение до последней версии. Если после обновления что-то будет выглядеть не так, напишите нам через настройки приложения — мы проверим.

It’s a very good app but it’s price it’s a little high for what it does. I have similar apps that I have gotten free that do the same.
