Interface and filling up information multiple times

I have only just started using the app and creating my profile. I find the interface quite messy - I had to fill in my work experience and introductory video at least 5 times because the progress would not be saved from one time opening the app to the next one. Then, you have to go through the same “add your work experience” and upload a video for each stint team, the button gets you to a form.jotform link that will loose your progress if you go out of that tab into another app I.e. your Notes App. These bugs should be looked into as they are time consuming and frustrating

False performance review

I have been unfairly banned. I have received a false performance review claiming that "you weren't treating the customers well during the shift, and you weren't as enthusiastic about getting along with the team members at the site". However due to the nature of the job, I did not interact with customers as I was fulfilling delivery orders where I was reading from a receipt and making salads for delivery so I never even have the opportunity to serve customers. Additionally I always receive compliments from the team for my good work ethic. So I believe that this performance review must be a mistake as it is completely inconsistent.

So Far, So Good

On a technical note,

I think the app needs the ability to let you see the exact shifts that you have completed which details the time you checked in to the shift, the pay you earned and other minute details as all you can see in relation to how much you earned is the gross amount for all your stints in your profile which isn’t convenient.

I think this will help in terms of clarity to understand what may need to be deducted because of taxes and to overall just have a better understanding of what and when something was completed.

Overall real review

I had a mixed experience using this app. While I was able to complete shifts and did receive payment, there are several important issues that new users should be aware of.

Firstly, the availability of shifts can be quite limited depending on your location, making it difficult to find consistent work. In addition, there is little to no training provided before starting, so you are often expected to perform immediately without proper guidance.

The app states that there is a “three strikes” policy before account deactivation. However, in my experience, this was not followed as expected, and my account was deactivated much more quickly without clear warning or the opportunity to improve.

Because of this, the platform can feel quite unforgiving. There is very little feedback, support, or chance to learn from mistakes, which can be difficult, especially for those new to this type of work.

I would advise anyone considering this app to be cautious and fully understand the expectations before starting. While it can offer short-term experience, it may not provide the support, consistency, or job security that many users are looking for.

Overall, the concept is useful, but improvements are needed in transparency, training, and user support.

Stupid app

My phone number has changed and it says in order to update number I need to contact support; when I land on the support centre page, I am met with a chat bot, which only has three options which are far from relevant, and when I click on any of the options; it ends the conversation. It's weird it doesn't just allow me to update my phone number. Lazy workers, shameful company.

Unusable app and no means to contact

Following an ad on social media, downloaded to have a further look but when you go to create account it always leads to an error page and you are unable to create an account

Furthermore, the only way seek any support is through the same app that you cannot log in through.

If this is how they treat you before you even get in the door, then this sheds poor light on how they treat you inside, so not even worth wasting time on going further.

Unfair rating from Business

I did a stint a couple days ago and I have an unfair rating even tho I did everything I was asked to do. And the worst thing is that you can’t dispute the claim if the business rates you bad

Unusable with no help team

I couldn’t even get started with this. The app wouldn’t let me ‘add my work experience’ as when I submitted answers to the questions I was taken back to the beginning as if I haven’t answered. App was fully up to date, submitted this to their tech team days ago and they don’t come back to you.
Literally no way to get in touch with any kind of human at stint so even if you did work and had any problems you’re screwed. It says ‘open the app and go to account>help>live chat but this sends you to an AI bot where you can’t even type anything in. You have to select from their 3 options and none of them go to speaking to anyone. Terrible app and literally zero customer service.?

Bad experience with Stint Agency

I had a deeply disappointing experience with this organization. The employees I dealt with were rude and highly unprofessional. They assigned me tasks at the very last minute, creating unnecessary stress, and despite fulfilling all the requirements, they unjustly held my account.
This treatment was a disgrace and has left me struggling with the trauma caused by their actions. I strongly advise others not to waste their time with this organization. The recruitment team is full of rude and non considerate individuals.

Stint teams ruined the app

used to be student friendly now seems to be impossible to get a stint now without using Stint teams that give you the slight chance of being accepted to a team which requires months of commitment, terrible app now

Data harvesting at its finest

I have been using this app for almost a year. I have applied for a job every single time I get a notification. I have not received an update or offer. Even the apps own employment recruitment provides you with nothing in return. I did apply directly with one of the companies that allegedly uses the app with the same information I put on the app and got a job. They have never even heard of the app. I will be closing my account and asking for my days to be removed

Absolute trash

I have been waiting to get my id verification done for the past 2 and half years and it is still saying processing not a single thing has changed can’t even get support or anything it is really frustrating cause you won’t be able to do anything if the id check isn’t complete

Verification system is poor

Trying to verify right to work is very bad I’ve tried using my passport in all different lightings and is unable to verify,please fix the system I have not have had a problem with verification on other platforms :(

Disappointment

I’ve been filling out applications on Stint since February, and it’s now been over three months without a single job offer or meaningful update. Despite applying consistently and meeting the criteria, I’ve only received rejections – without any explanation or feedback. It’s extremely frustrating and demotivating to be continuously overlooked with no transparency or communication. How is it possible to be rejected for every stint over such a long period? If there are limited opportunities or stricter criteria, that should be communicated clearly to users. At this point, it feels like a complete waste of time.

It’s a shame

Honestly, if you had asked me how I felt about Stint a week ago, I would have said it was a great app for students - you have access to a variety of short shifts (2-4hours) that you can flexibly fit around your studying schedule. But then out of nowhere, Stint cancelled many of our jobs after claiming it had ‘informed us earlier that our jobs were at risk’ and may actually not last more than 2 months. It’s a shame how they’ve left us with no income and stress after only a day’s notice that about the fact that we will be without a job. If you want a stable job, don’t work here. I hate to give negative reviews, stint seemed amazing at first but turned into a massive and unexpected let down.

Two Years and Still No ID Verification- Unacceptable

I have been waiting for two years for this app to verify my identity, and despite multiple attempts, emails, and support tickets, nothing has been resolved. This level of neglect is absolutely unacceptable. In that time, countless updates have been released, but somehow basic verification-a fundamental feature-remains broken or ignored.
The lack of support is equally frustrating. If you’re going to require ID verification for full access, then make sure the process actually works and that your team responds in a timely, respectful manner. As it stands, this app has completely failed me.
Avoid this app if you expect reliable service or even basic respect as a user.
