I have worked here since 2022 I love this store amazing coworkers ,customers and sales. We greet our customers, we ask if they need help, we care about our customers.
App not working
We’ve used this app for many years but now it suddenly stopped letting us check out and no one is responding to our inquiries.
Too much effort
Too much effort to take advantage of sale pricing. Should have to work so hard for a sale price or get screwed. Get rid of digital coupons and make savings easier.
Store
The worst grocery store to ever buy my groceries at Canaan ct Stop & Shop has mold all over the ceiling all along the back wall and the side wall where the coolers are. It’s disgusting to be department smells like a dead animal all the time I usually drive a half an hour to 45 minutes to go to a different grocery store like big Y or market 32 because Stop & Shop is disgusting with disgusting food half the time I buy something in there it’s past due date rancid or just plain gross. Bought a whole chicken there once. Cooked it it was green on the inside. Disgusting.

Never works in store!! Give us service in the store!
Garbage app. Dirty store
won’t let me log in
I constantly have issues logging in, i confirmed that my username and password works on the website yet it won’t be recognized on the app. tried changing my PW but that won’t work. App is useless
Multiple profiles per household
My family can’t be the only one that has to share a profile between different users in the same household. It’s an especially pain when logging in and MFA.

Do not use deli pick up
Deli pick up does not work. App says it’s ready then when you go to counter it’s not, then they rush your order and it’s not correct, then I got a text an hour later saying order was ready. Don’t offer services you can’t deliver. Maybe in the burbs certain services work better but if you are offering a service in the city either come through or drop it.

Used my points for 30 cents off and the gas pump said I had no points to use for a discount on fuel had to pay full price

Fake ads
Most times what’s in the circular isn’t available in the store, the manager (he’s so rude) claims the merchandise didn’t come in.

The weekly ad hasn’t loaded for weeks.
Terrible app
Closes out your order way before the time its scheduled to. Even after getting the text notification reminder that you have 1 hour left to shop- 20 mins later you can’t edit your order.
Used to be a great app, now it’s a problem every single order.

Signs out too often.
The app itself is fine however, it’s incredibly frustrating when you’ve left your home and are now on the store only to find that you have been signed out of the app. The facial recognition only works if you’re signed in. Therefore, good luck if you can’t remember your sign in details.
Difficult
App is difficult to use when making changes to account and verifying. Moves slow
It’s Good When It Works
I try to utilize the shopping list feature and it doesn’t like to let you scroll down. It hops back up to the top making it very difficult to see all the items in your list when you have many added. When I say many I mean it even has issues with less than 20 items in the list. I like the ability to digitally add coupons. I just wish I could do it all from the app and not have to also check-in at the store.

App no long shows weekly Non personalized Go Point promos
App and weekly ad are horrible as far as the weekly non personalized go point promos. I want to be able to plan ahead before I shop. Why are they not ALL listed somewhere. I am referring to the Spend $15 on such and such and get 500 points weekly promos. Once in a while one may be in the circular, one may be on the app home page. But others can only be found by wandering up and down every darned aisle looking for signage. I don’t have that kind of time. It smacks of sneakiness and reluctance to actually give the customer these bonus points. The weekly promos should be all in one place on the app and website. We should not have to go on a scavenger hunt to find them. It is outrageous and offensive.
