Useful, but could use some helpful tweaks
I like the idea of this extension. The user interface could be cleaner. It could be easier to disable the extension on the current website with one click rather than first manually creating a profile. The menus and options are so extensive that it can be hard to know where things are and what’s enabled. Still, a helpful extension.

Die wohl beste Erweiterung für Safari
StopTheMadness ist eine der mächtigsten Erweiterungen für den Browser, die ich bisher gesehen habe. Die Integration in Safari mit Synchronisation via iCloud zwischen verschiedenen Geräten funktioniert exzellent. Der Entwickler behebt über den Supportweg gemeldete Bugs zügig und zuverlässig.

Love this app. Have used the classic version previously, and use the browser extension everywhere it's compatible. Dev is very responsive, and regularly updates app
By far my most used feature is probably the copy on hover. Right-clicking for copy isn't a huge inconvenience individually, but when you have to copy long lists of links or especially link titles, it's such a decrease in friction with this app.
Has other fantastic features such as hotkey protection (to stop websites stealing your key binds), right-click protection, a basic element viewer for those annoying sticky elements on mobile websites, bringing images to the front of the page for interaction, etc.
Most functions of the app can be replicated with userscripts, but this app provides a convenient "toolkit" that seamlessly removes so many little annoyances about the modern "thanks Google/Shopify now web standards are optional and everything is just an ugly, slow javascript animation" web

Couldn’t imagine browsing the web without it now
As the title says. So many quality of life enhancements that it’s a must to make browsing the web bearable again.

I kept coming across this app on odd little list of apps that people found essential and thinking - wow, that sounds a lot of money to pay for an app that’ll probably fix a few geeky things about web browsing that I don’t notice anyway. Pleased to report that I was UTTERLY wrong and that this app is a work of broad-spectrum genius, devoted to giving you back control every time a web app feels like taking it from you. After using it for a month or two you start to forget just how much it solves and decomplicates about the daily experience of using the internet — then you use someone else’s computer for a few minutes and are reminded how creepingly demoralising the process without it can be. Worth every penny!

Not an ad blocker
The app lets you really configure how you want web site to work. I just want something to block popups and ads that take over your page. Maybe there is a way to do it, but I can’t figure it out.

Une application qui simplifie la vie sur internet, sans imposer sa présence chaque clic. La majorité de son travail se fait en coulisses. Tout est plus fluide grâce à cette app. On ne s’en rend même pas compte… Jusqu’au jour où on travaille sur un autre ordinateur et où on est agacé par plein de petits empêchements pour cause de sites mal optimisés (volontairement ou pas). L’une des fonctions les plus utiles, c’est d’afficher le mode d’emploi des formulaires peu clairs. Exemple : quel est le format attendu dans une case où il faut rentrer son numéro de téléphone ou de sécu ? Espaces ? Tirets ? Tous les chiffres ou pas ? Les préfixes, les suffixes ?Parfois, c’est un vrai casse-tête de le deviner. Stop The Madness nous l’indique clairement, sans même qu’on pense à lui demander.
