Flexible formats Create ZIP, 7-Zip, TAR, TAR.GZ, TAR.BZ2, TAR.XZ, TAR.ZST, GZIP, BZIP2, XZ, Zstandard, LZ4, and Lzip archives. Open those formats plus RAR, ISO, CAB, CPIO, Unix Compress, LZOP, LRZIP, GRZIP, and common split archives. Safer encryption Stow uses AES-256 for encrypted ZIP archives and supports encrypted 7-Zip archives, including encrypted filenames. Passwords can stay in your Keychain instead of being stored in project files or sent over the network.
