New Customer—Terrible Apps
This is like the 3rd app that didn’t work for my brand new iPhone 13,and the $65 plan from Straight talk. It keeps saying an “authentication problem”. I have already been to a straight talk agent where I brought my phone and service from in Walmart. Over half of my perks are “not accessible”. I just purchased everything on March 6, 2026.

1st impressions
Im writing a short review as I’m still giving myself some time to get used of the app, and I want to give ST the benefit of the doubt. First things I’ve noticed, it says all of my photos are backed up (their not) and it laggs. Extremely slow process, and it almost looks like I will have to manually upload doc’s. Idk, I’m still giving this app a shot because it’s included into my plan. Needs bug fixes ASAP.

It says that I’m not eligible when I have a new phone. It won’t let me sign in. Then when I try to sign in another way, it errors every time. Just a ways of my 100 gigs every month that I have never seen

Been with ST for years so I thought I would download their cloud storage app. I have an iPhone with version 18 iOS which apparently this app doesn’t support? Upgrade your app please!

Wow! Impressive! Str8talk service helped me with adding desperately needing hotspot data!

The app refuses to backup anything at all and your Help page offers zero help at all and no way to contact anyone. What am I paying y’all for if nothing works?

I bought the 65 dollar plan and I can't access the app, I'm waiting for the text message with the access code and it never arrives, I'm paying for the service and I'm not using it.

I have very important things saved in my account but the app won’t progress passed the authenticating step. Not sure what to do

I have been a Straight Talk customer for a few years now and I just downloaded this app and it opens and starts the steps, but once I put in the verification code, that was sent to my iPhone phone to verify my Apple ID, the very next screen tells me that the connection is not private or secure and then makes me go back immediately and won’t go any further. Also I’m on a private WiFi network at home an it is not public and no one is on there that shouldn’t be on there. Is there any way to fix this problem??

Offer a LITTLE something please?
I’ve been with Straight Talk for a few years now and have never had much of an opinion one way or the other. That is, not until I realized that the cloud is only offered on the more expensive plans. I started using them because they’re one of the less expensive options. If I’m going to pay the higher price for a plan I don’t need just to get void storage that seems to be counterproductive. I’ll be honest, for that price I would prefer a carrier with better and more reliable coverage in my area. Hey Straight Talk, perhaps you could offer your customers that are on the plan that works for them, but doesn’t meet the cloud qualifications; a smaller storage option with the choice of storage add ons maybe?
