What's New in Strix Workout

1.7.1

September 12, 2026

==Workouts== -Repeat a finished workout from Your Plans, your workout history, or the home screen. The app confirms before a fresh session starts. -Coach notes show again during workouts. They had gone missing, and high-priority notes now keep their highlight. -Old sessions no longer linger as "resume workout" cards. A workout can be resumed for ten hours after you start it, in any timezone. -Discard a stuck or abandoned workout straight from Home. If the discard fails, the app tells you instead of silently losing your logged sets. -Home controls no longer stay locked after you preview a workout. -Switching between today's workouts on Home is simpler, with previous and next arrows and a Choose workout menu. -Sessions with no exercises no longer appear as workouts on Home. -The pre-workout check-in no longer pre-fills answers for you. -The workout editor stays open after you save, and the button now just says "Save". -Volume stats read "lb" instead of "lb-eq". ==Workout video== -Play, pause, and 10-second skip buttons now sit at the bottom of the video, and you can hide or show them with a tap. The old "Tap to Pause Video" setting is gone since the buttons replace it. -Controls are easier to see over bright footage and stay visible above the logging inputs. ==Classes and bookings== -Class availability refreshes when you come back to the app, so a full class no longer looks full after a spot opens up. -Canceled and rescheduled bookings no longer show on Home. -Your booking allowance now shows your total upcoming bookings. -Completed workouts and booked classes are easier to tell apart on the home cards. -The fixed cancellation-window note was removed from the booking screen, since each gym sets its own policy. ==Membership== -Request a membership change from your profile menu if enabled by your gym. Requests go straight to your gym's staff. ==Speed and reliability== -Faster app launch with less background work. -Workout autosave is lighter on your device. -Calendar weeks line up correctly across daylight saving changes. -Branded gym apps keep coach permissions after sign-in.
