New update gone downhill
Booked flights earlier this year no problem, was notified big changes were made to the app, more like big downgrades. No type of login anymore, have to verify student status everytime you even want to check flight prices, half the time google doesn’t let me sign into my institution. If something isn’t broken, don’t fix it.

The updated verification with SheerID is terrible it asked me to contact my school admin to be able to verify my student email?!

Not working
When trying to search a message appears: Need to verify that you are human. It never goes away, so the flight search NEVER STARTS. Useless app.

Customer Service number dont even work. The number isnt even active. 2. The website customer service knows nothing about the app and cant help either.
While using the app
Saw an add about this app so I downloaded it and give it a try. When trying to book a flight app keeps glitch and gives error messages.
Pretty good, but the app hasn’t been working
It’s a great resource for students. I’ve booked a couple flights with them and everything went smoothly. The only issue is that recently there have been issues with the app and being able to view my upcoming flights. I’ve updated the app and still nothing. It’s very frustrating. At the very least it would be good if there’s an email of the itinerary once the flight is booked, instead of a link to the app that frequently has issues. PLEASE FIX THIS!

Can’t complain about the customer service ‘cause there ain’t any…try phoning…no answer…email the same, no reply or acknowledgment…might as well be pissing in the wind…useless…avoid wasting your time on this lot.

Scam/Never actually booked my flight
Booked a flight, got a confirmation email. Wasn’t able to check in the day of the flight. Called to investigate and was told they never received payment. They never charged the card I provided. Never reached out to ask for payment or notify me that I did not actually have a flight. Was advised by customer service to book a flight directly through the airline, which the day of the flight cost me 200$ more and got a middle seat.
My best guess is this is a scam website to obtain passport details from people.

I purchased tickets and didn’t receive my ticket information. I have tried to contact them to issued a refund but I get no response.
Do not use it
Student Universe is the worst app！if you want to cancel your tickets, you need to call their customer service and wait more than one hour to talk with them. Their customer service can not help you at all, because they will tell you different cancellation fee. If you finally pay the cancellation fee like 40$, they will call you back and say they can’t help you cancel your tickets. You need to wait another phone call or a email from the airline! This is ridiculous! Do not use it!
