Fast and easy

For a singer-songwriter, this is the perfect tool. For years i’ve recorded my ideas in iPhone Notes, but often wish I could’ve done it with a metronome. I do have GarageBand loaded, and it’s wonderful, but it’s overkill when you just wanna get ideas down quickly and easily. This app fills the bill. Nothing fancy, but it’s incredibly easy to record a guitar track with a built-in drum loop and add three additional tracks (vocal, harmony, bass) if I need to. One thing I discovered… I couldn’t use my Bluetooth headphones because of the latency issue, so I had to use my wired earphones (glad I still had a set) bought a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter to connect. Small issue easily fixed. I love this app.

As a totally blind person, and having Run a successful analog Studio since the early 90s I was looking for something just to use at home for a bit of songwriting, I have downloaded at least 30 recording apps, most were rendered useless, and was amazed to find this one virtually every button worked with VoiceOver, I probably managed to master it within an hour, this is a fantastic app. I can't praise it highly enough. also the developers have just emailed me to run through some elements of the app that are not obvious how to use, how good is that, again fantastic!

It’s great in it’s simplicity

I do enjoy the app and it does exactly what I’m looking to do - got down quick ideas for songs. I’m just subscription fatigued. That’s why it lots a star. It’s a cheap subscription, but considering what it does, it seems like it should be a single purchase. There are so many other options out there that I just can’t add to my growing list of subscriptions. So I decided to not subscribe.

Keep up the good work and consider a non-subscription tier!

EXCEPTIONAL Music Recording App!!

First and foremost, this app deserves WELL above a 5 star rating!!!

As a singer/songwriter myself, I have been using this recording app religiously, since at least 2010, and to-date, I have not found another studio app that can even touch what Otreus has done here with StudioMini.

It is truly one of a kind; created by two brilliant friends that share a passion for music, and most importantly, a genuine desire to create a platform for other’s to create, record, and mix a studio-quality production. This app truly gives you the tools, *at your fingertips*, to take what’s been in your mind, and turn it into a masterpiece. The quality is remarkable, and this app only continues to improve and surpass expectations when it comes to mobile recording. It allows you to seamlessly play every role in the production process; you are your own audio engineer. It’s designed purely with the user in mind..

What sets this app & company apart from the rest, is their outstanding customer service. These guys went above and beyond to help solve the issue I was having, as well as, welcomed suggestions. They had a quick response time, almost immediate solution, and made me feel involved in that process every step of the way. That speaks volumes..

All this to say.. Otreus wasn’t playin’ games when they created this one. This is the real deal, guess you just gotta find out! 🎧🎙️💿

Songwriter’s Best Friend

StudioMini has been a go-to for 10+ years. The ease of capturing song & lyric ideas, along w the ability to multi-track “on the go” is priceless. AND - all on the smartphone and other devices. I’ve had many cuts and a #1 that originated because of StudioMini on my phone. I can’t wait to see what’s in store with this DAW powerhouse in the future! jp

Love it!

Wrote two new ideas for songs super quick! got the tempo, melody, vox and keys soooo fast - sent it to my brother- the drummer- for preproduction and is already starting to work on it- super intuitive- look forward to some simple effects per track to get a little more direction of the general idea.
It’s the voice memo for the musicians!!

Best portable multitrack recording solution anywhere.

What is so amazing about this app is it manages to offer musicians all the essential recording functions, offering high quality sound while eliminating the confusing usability issues that plague so many other multi track machines, software, and apps. Easy to use

This recording app is the best I have used so far. With the recent updates, it is user-friendly for people who are blind or low vision. The communication between myself and the developers has been excellent. They’ve been forthcoming with information and very willing to help with directions and guidance as how to use the different functions. Great job!!!

I don't won't to hear excuses. I already paid for this app, now you want me to pay for it again?? What an absolute shady business practice. You're not getting my money twice. I smell class action here. You basically stole from all of us. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Imagine buying a microwave, and 5 years later the company comes to you and says.... You know, 5 years ago we didn't charge you enough because we're idiots, so if you want to keep using your microwave you already paid for 5 years ago, we're going to need another $100 out of you. LoL

Whoever gave you guys that advice deserves to be punched and fired. I look forward to watching this app fail and go out of business. Thieves.

Intuitive and easy to use.

Great app for getting ideas down without having to expend energy navigating through a technological minefield. Reminds me of the old four track cassette recorders. Keep up the good work!
