There is never anyone to actually help fix your problem
I’ve been using Style Seat for about two years. And in those two years, I have experienced some of the most infuriating exchanges with. I don’t know if it is bots or people. Last week I was locked out of my account simply because I changed my phone number and somewhere in their system. It did not change. Since then, I have saved, changed my notifications, a slew of other things that they advised me to do and I am still not receiving text messages from them, which tells me that it is not changed in their system. Upon speaking with someone after waiting hours.. They continued to give me the exact same message that said it shows it’s changed on your side. Please contact if you need any further assistance. It’s been showing changed on my side. It’s not changed on your side for some reason. But they just continue to repeat the message without resolving the problem. It is infuriating to pay you every month and not have some type of that actually helps when things go wrong. It is infuriating to pay you every month and not talk to a real person who is willing to fix a real problem with the way that we make our money every day.. It is infuriating to know that we are just a dollar.

Worst Booking Site on the Market
From the excessive booking charges for high demand slots and having my account deactivated without my consent and prior knowledge, I will not and do not recommend this booking platform. I was signed out of my account and could no longer sign back in so I emailed the support desk and was directed in circles to no avail. My issue was not resolved and it was an issue the platform initiated! I was a client for several years. All these fees, updates and changes made by StyleSeat are nothing but inconveniences for clients. Take your money elsewhere. Don’t bother on this app/site.

Pro problems
I used to really love StyleSeat, I switched from Square & Blvd. However lately they have made some updates & they aren’t the best. I keep getting logged out of my account when I’m trying to look at my schedule, most of the time it takes forever to load the screen if I click on a specific appt, I find it super annoying that I have to search a clients name up to text them from their client profile rather than the appointment on my schedule directly. The fees are ridiculous and even though I have auto checkout turned OFF some appointments still get auto checked out. These are just a handful of issues I have had recently. I am actively looking for a better booking site for my clients to use.

Scheduling/Stylist App
styleseat app is super easy to book, but scheduling would be easier if the customer and stylists platforms were a little more separated. The scheduling tabs and stylists tab should be divided up a bit more.
Login Ai help
I’m very disappointed the app logged me out and has not option to login - It states login or sign up but login does not exist only sign up and of course I don’t need to sign up I just need to login. YES, I know my password. I’ve even tried to find change password THAT DOES NOT exist. AI left me holding in chat for 4 minutes.

Promotions don’t apply
I have used this app for my stylist for over a year. The app itself is user friendly, however…. The promotions they advertise don’t apply when the Pro completes the service. When contacting support about this, it’s always a loophole as to why the promotion didn’t apply to your service. Usually it’s because you either have booked with the pro before or in my case the promotion was for a new pro, but because I messaged her, I no longer qualified for the promotion because I messaged her and at that point I was considered a recurring client.

AWFUL customers
This app used to be great but my experience recently has been HORRIBLE. A stylist can change their location to a different state and you will not be notified. A stylist can change their charge for your service and you will not be notified.

Excellent service
I had an amazing experience getting my flat twists done! She was incredibly personable and easy to talk to, which made the whole appointment enjoyable. She really took her time, making sure I was happy with every detail of the style. I felt listened to and cared for throughout. I’m beyond pleased with how my hair turned out, and I’ll definitely be returning!

I’ve used this app for years as a professional but as of lately I’ve been feeling ripped off. They take 30% from your service price for new clients and claim it’s to cover “marketing” fees but I’ve had clients who were referred to me and was told to use StyleSeat to book me so I don’t see how style markets for me

I’m a pro on style seat and I have been having many issues with the app. The message on in my inbox will not load, messages will randomly disappear, app hardly sends me notifications when clients message me or when appointments are booked. It has been horrible and needs to be updated ASAP
