Love it when it works
It feels like once a month the device will no longer connect to the app and it takes me 30 minutes to fix it. The same thing that works one time never works again. I keep having to change my Dexcom password. I love this thing when it’s working but it is so irritating to troubleshoot.
Support is next to non existent
We’ve had this for approximately 1 year,worked great, got a new iPhone & had to re log into the app which was fine, then stopped working, first saying error then saying CGM Log In Error. I contacted support via email which is the ONLY way & they totally misunderstood our issue & after clarifying it again, never heard back from them. As far as we’re concerned it’s going to the landfill since the support is horrible & cannnot get it going.

Device is amazing but App needs improvement.
The device is amazing, but the app needs improvement. It frequently won’t connect to my Sugar Pixel unless I’m in the same room. Remote Snooze is thus not reliable and I have to snooze manually when my BG is low, which is counterintuitive.

I’ve been a T1D for a year and this is so good for at night and day. Whoever put a 1 star is Juston Zaza or they are like just have a glitch
Every T1 home needs this
This device and companion app has been a life changer for my home. With a 10 y/o with T1, they are not ready to fully manage things and this helps the whole house understand what is going on clearly so we can take action. The app is easy to navigate and setup of the device is quick. We take it anywhere we go when we travel and stay overnight. Much thanks to the CustomTypeOne team.

Game Changer
I love my Sugar Pixels! Having 3 T1s in the house has caused a serious alarm fatigue. I never wake up to alarms and sometimes miss them just going about my day.. they’re constantly going off for SOMEone. It’s loud enough for the whole house to hear and you can never mistake it. The app is so easy to use. Setup is relatively easy as well. Troubleshooting is so simple when having WiFi issues. We already have 2 and plan on grabbing another set when my oldest goes to college. I won’t let him leave home without it!

Awful! Impossible to set up
I’ve followed all the directions and been at this for hours and Still unable to complete set up. It should’nt be this hard! And there’s no number to contact for support. And I never received an email back when I requested support. Will be returning
Greatest Device .
I love this device . I give it 5 stars for everything. The customization is awesome. Wishing dexcom took notes from this Manufacturer. When your sugars are low this keeps going off when you phone alerts from dexcom don’t . This is a must have . Would be nice if they could update software to actually make it an alarm clock also and the vibration sensor could be a little long by 2 to 3 ft . I love this for my diabetes and highly recommend this .

Really helpful app
Just go a SugarPixel and use this app to configure it. It is great in almost all ways. Only one complaint. In the CGM setup area, it’s a bit confusing. You enter login and password and then below it says “Disconnect” but it’s confusing. You should add a “save” button or “connect” button. I now know you just leave but that would be more logical.

Unskippable intro
I already set my sugarpixel up twice and it keeps forcing a setup video on me. The video is real bad so 1 star
The Best
Best app, best product, best support. If you monitor your blood sugar in any way for any reason (especially if you’re starting to learn about taking care of yourself or a loved one) this is absolutely necessary.
Not bad, not amazing.
There are times when you open the app to select the device you want to remote snooze and it just loads forever. It doesn’t do anything. And when it starts this, it lasts for days. The app just does this for days then randomly will start working again. Very annoying when it starts acting up.
So Grateful
With Type 1 diabetes, you have to celebrate all the things that make this diagnosis more manageable and this device is one to celebrate!!!!! Wow!! Worth every penny for the peace of mind you receive for the highs and the lows via visual and audio alerts.

You can tell a lot of thought has been put into this. Theres genuine love and care here. They did a great job!

It’s good but I wish the clock could set alarms like a normal clock.
Confusing
I can figure out how to connect a dexcom with an omnipod but this device is so complicated. I would definitely think twice before purchasing. If I had known how difficult it was to set up I would not have saved my money.
Amazing
I absolutely love the sugar pixel. My daughter was diagnosed last October and I found myself sleeping through her low alarms. It was such an awful feeling to wake up and see that. I learned about the sugar pixel through the Juicebox podcast. Worth every penny. It has become an integral part of our diabetes care. Thank you so much.
