I only played the beginning after the tutorial and will update here as soon as I played more.

So basically the sultan seems to give you challenges that you have to fulfill within a certain amount of turns, or he will end your life.
The sultan is a pretty disgusting cruel villain that could spoil the game for you, should his character be as visible through the game as through the tutorial.
Nothing for sensitive people.
It seems you have to manage your resources and companions by getting lucky in skill checks in different hotspots of the capitol, with the purpose to collect strenght to have a better chance at succeeding in the sultans challenges.

Sultan’s Game is mechanically very engaging and addictive, but on a moral and psychological level, I found it deeply uncomfortable.
Take the Carnality cards, for example. The sexual encounters they represent take place under an extreme power imbalance: the player is effectively a ruler, while the other person has little meaningful ability to refuse. The card system can make it feel as if the player is absolved of responsibility — “the game made me do it” — while at the same time encouraging the player to enjoy the feeling of absolute power over other people. To progress, players may even start treating certain female characters as more disposable targets for Carnality or Bloodshed. It is not always clear whether the game is criticizing this kind of power fantasy or simply allowing the player to indulge in it.
The gendered imagery also bothers me. Carnality and Bloodshed both depict women as the ones being subjected to violence or humiliation, and Carnality even involves two female figures. Meanwhile, the relatively less disturbing cards, Extravagance and Conquest, are represented by men. Are men somehow absent from sexuality and vulnerability? The gender coding feels extremely stereotypical.
In the end, the game did not leave me with a sense of peace or meaningful reflection. What lingered instead was the sensation of enjoying power, cruelty, and control over other people. That is exactly what makes the experience unsettling to me.

The game is of good quality. However, the drag‑and‑drop interface is not adapted for mobile devices, making it awkward to operate. Hope this can be optimized soon.

Peak story, peak characters. Every ending is peak. There are so many endings too!! The amount of freedom the player gets in the story is honestly astonishing in a good way. But it’s so hard sometimes… Maggie my wife forever. Lumera best daughter.
最近一次更新有问题
自从更新后，治理家业变成了自动进行，但我就再也没有从治理家业赚到过钱了，我已经把难度调到了简单，我把判定的点数加起来有合计30点，还有情报卡，但无论怎么尝试都赚不到钱，也尝试过重启之类的也没办法也不行。
怎么这么消耗平板电池？
更新之后的优化做得不赖，原来卡片槽不长按就不出提示第一遍我基本上是乱过的，玩得一头雾水；没有iPad pencil手动拖真是累死了。好在这些都改进了。即使这样我也连打好几天，就是因为本身游戏很好玩。不过文字游戏比大型手游还费电吗？几天下来都快把我机器电池健康给整废了。尽快优化吧。
