Buggy lately

I’ve used this app for a couple of months now and it’s been fine for a while.
However, you should know that the messaging on the app no longer works. That’s fine, as I can message my provider over text or email, but the home page doesn’t update anymore. Steps don’t update, sleep and weight haven’t updated now for almost 2 weeks.
If you go to look for information that was previously there, it’s gone. Even trying to correct measurements that have been accidentally entered because of tapping the wrong button is impossible.
My food diary updates sometimes, but isn’t consistently showing up correctly.
A huge gripe I have is that the “answer” to all of this is to change permissions within Health or MFP. It’s still not working as it should.

And only being able to use MFP for food tracking is maddening. MFP is a clunky bloated app, and so much of the info in there is just plain useless and wrong. PLEASE find a way to integrate with another food logging app such as LoseIt! or Chronometer. I had years of data in there that’s just lost when it comes to my weight loss journey, and having to enter in every single food and meal at meal time is not sustainable or conducive to forming good habits.

The workout integration with the watch app is also buggy and clunky, and the app doesn’t allow for exercises to be added if they’re not the prescribed workout in the app.
Overall the functionality of the app is good— it’s beautiful and doesn’t seem to lag or force close. But something isn’t working within the last couple of weeks and it’s frustrating.
If the developers could somehow make it easier to get support, or update the app to work with the other platforms that are necessary, I would enjoy using this app and seeing my progress. For now, it’s just an app that is beautiful but not working to its full potential.
