Still my favorite “magazine” after ALL these years.

Your quaint article about the Grand Canyon speaks volumes to me, being one who “loves with a passion the Grand Canyon” and to share this fabulous alluring beauty with all my friends and travelers that visit our beautiful state.

Thank you for putting to words how magnificent the Grand Canyon truly is. I am hopeful to hike rim to rim and havasupai in coming years.

Vacation possibilities

I have enjoyed the articles and would recommend it for everyone to read.

Love this magazine

I had subscribed to Sunset magazine for many years and then stopped for no good reason. Recently I was going through an old file folder and found all these wonderful articles I had torn out and saved over the years. I realized how much I miss reading about all the food, drink and travel in the west and renewed my subscription. Somehow when I read this magazine I just unwind and get lost in the great stories and pictures. Thank you for that.

Very disappointed with Sunset magazine!

I paid for a year subscription to both online and hardcopy. They have not mailed me one magazine yet and it’s been 10 months. I have called, and email at least 10 times with no reply. Terrible terrible magazine now Mark Agnello.

Innovative graphic design layout each month

Each issue of the magazine’s layout is visually unique. The design enhances the text and photo presentation. It’s just another way the Sunset staffers show us that they are contemporary, not only in the content, but also in their medium.

Vintage magazines

Like the vintage magazines far better than the ones nowadays.
They are far too trendy! Not enough practical garden or decorating advice.

What a shame!

I am disappointed how the magazine handled existing subscribers (longtime subscribers) when COVID hit. I haven’t seen a physical copy of this magazine delivered to my home since 2019 and I specifically paid more to have the dual subscription. The app allows me to flip through the current issues, but after deciding not to renew this year, it’s glitchy when I try to access the issues I previously downloaded and paid for. Disappointing.

Buyer Beware

This company made it impossible for me to cancel. Easy to subscribe, wait on the phone forever to cancel business model.

selling Special Magazines...but not honoring Subsceibers

We’ve subscribed to Sunset prior to COVID-19 for at least 8 years. During Covid sunset decided not to send subscribing patrons their magazine but rather force those who have paid ahead of time to use an app to download. That’s great when you have a good Internet connection, but we don’t. How frustrating to recently see in the grocery store a special seasonal sunset magazines available for purchase. Why not honor a prior commitment to send US mail to paid subscribers? Ridiculous!

Want the print edition back

I like to save recipes and the app only allows you to email a link. I want a PDF to save. I will not be renewing. I have no problem with digital newspapers, but I want my mags to be in print.

Pretty slick App!

Well thought out. The GUI is complete enough without being cluttered or busy.
This is how an App should be, the big boys I.e. Amazon should take a lesson from these guys!

The e version of sunset is awful

It’s bad enough that they canceled the print version for subscribers without informing us, but at least they could create an interesting electronic version. This is just the print version online, difficult to read and navigate. This magazine has really declined with the new owners

Disappointed with Sunset

It’s too bad I paid for a two year subscription in 2019 and failed to get a hardcopy as advertised that I should have had. But I understand due to Covid they’re not processing hardcopies. But now moving on they now want to charge me a premium fee to continue getting a hardcopy. Shame on sunset not honoring their renewal subscription from 2019 the 2022. With adding a premium charge to continue something that you already paid four. I will not be renewing my subscription that I had for many years. Poor customer service.

Would like the magazine in hand

Rip Off

Bought the print plus digital just when pandemic hit. Print version was cancelled supposedly because of COVID ...as if we didn’t go shopping and bring home all that stuff. No refund given because I still have digital version. I don’t try to read magazines on an iPad mini with my eyes.

Out of touch.

Is the print edition done?

Disappointing

You can’t tell what the latest magazine is. Some of the magazines seem to be unavailable. It’s hard to read on a phone.

Print magazine ?

I thought I No

Negative 5 stars

Every time the app updates I lose access to older issues. Then it takes a few months for customer service to respond. I’ve been subscriber for years. But the customer service has been atrocious for the last couple years. Adios sunset.

This is not the Sunset We Knew & Loved

This is a weak imitation of the Sunset Magazine we knew and loved for decades. Google it - the old Sunset was sold off and all the staff are gone. And though COVID hasn’t helped the new owner and team get up to speed, all indications of the new Sunset are that they won’t be able to come close. The garden tips are laughable, the homes featured are ordinary at best. I am giving up my subscription because not only is the cost not worth it, it’s just too painful.
