This is one of the greatest learning apps i have ever discovered
It doesn’t really give you the basics.
I’m trying to learn French pending a trip I’m taking in a few months and I really can’t keep up with this. It just kind of throws you into the deep end without giving you the building blocks you need. Maybe there is an assumed level of knowledge there that I just don’t possess. I think I’m going to try something else to give me the starter course.

Très bonne appli pour prendre de l’aisance à l’oral, mais un petit bémol : pourquoi les scénarios sont-ils rédigés en anglais ? serait-ce possible de les avoir dans la langue que l’on apprend ?

Je ne suis pas certain de bien comprendre ce que vous voulez dire à propos des scénarios, car ils sont normalement conçus pour vous permettre de pratiquer la langue que vous apprenez. En revanche, un réglage qui pourrait vous intéresser se trouve dans Menu → Account Settings → Your Tutor → Tutor Language. En l’activant, les leçons et les commentaires seront affichés dans la langue que vous apprenez plutôt que dans votre langue maternelle. Great concept but could be improved
It is a nice app! I really like the concept of travelling, learning about different places while you learn german. However there are a few stuffs that annoys me:
- the feedbacks from the chats are useless. They tell you; use this instead of this but you dont know why. So they dont bring anything more. They are just a repetition of the correction but nicely formulated
- if you cannot talk, you dont always have the possibility to write but when you do, for the exercises for instance, the sentence is already built and you juste have to choose the right option. I would have preferred to be able to type the whole sentence (the same as what would have been done if I chose to talk)
- when you save a word, a grammatical concept or else… they are just saved. While I would have been nice to re-train of the words, grammatical points you saved to review them and improve your learning

Thanks so much for the feedback! I think you bring up a lot of great points. We're always looking for ways to improve the app and if you send an email to support@superfluent.com, I would love to discuss some of these ideas with you. To your last point about saving items, we just released a review feature that uses spaced repetition to revisit not only items that you have saved, but also exercises you missed while exploring the routes. You can find this by tapping on the "Review" tab at the bottom and then selecting "Daily Review"-- and despite the name, you can actually do this more than once per day. :)

Actually teaches spoken language!
This app responds to the learner, and leads the learner toward becoming a vocal communicator in the language. The grammar explanations are short and sweet and relevant to what the language the student wants to learn. Yea!

I love how it helps you practice speaking and the tutor is really quick to understand what you're saying so it sounds like a real conversation!

I just started and I love this app so much alr!
Horrible translator!
I got this app to improve my grammar and punctuation in Spanish. I like the concept, the education aspect is cool and I love the visuals.
However, when I do a lesson or speak to the tutor, it’s horrible. For example, early one it teaches you numbers. When I tried to say “uno. Tres. Cero” the app registered it as “uno 2-0” and kept marking my answer as incorrect. When speaking to the tutor I said a song lyric “vive solo y necesito amor” repetitedly and each time, it picked it up as an incorrect different sentence.
This was upsetting as I was mainly searching for an app to help with how I speak new languages. I’ve cancelled my free trial and will continue my search for a new language app.

Great app to learn a language of your choice!
Cool language app
This app is great for conversational learning. It’s perfectly paired with a more structured learning app for grammar and vocabulary. Haven’t found a language app that has mimicked talking with another person like this. A really fun and interactive way to learn!
Affordable and effective
I’ve tried learning in many different ways but being able to converse in the language and receive feedback has really enhanced my ability to speak and understand different languages.

This seems like a great app. From my first experience my brain was searching for the words to use and I was then able to practice. Brilliant for my confidence. Can’t wait to learn more.
Great language learning app!
I never leave reviews but this is an amazing app! I have used this app while learning both Danish and German and it’s great for practicing speech, pronunciation, and conversational skills. I really appreciate the diversity of languages this app offers, and I am happy I came across this app as I struggled finding one to practice Danish. Great tool for language learning, even without the paid subscription. I definitely recommend to language learners of all levels!

Great app
This is honestly a great app to learn grammar and conversational Spanish. The only thing I would like to see is an area where you can access the grammar content without going back into the “routes” to access it. I know you can save each grammar section if needed, but it’d be awesome to have a resource or grammar page to go back and review the info. Otherwise, I am really enjoying this at the moment; it’s addicting.
