Doesn’t do anything
Purchased for $50 and it does nothing at all. You have to open the app every time you want it to lock anything. Defeats the entire purpose. Once the phone is in my hands, I want to use it; if I had the willpower to manually block apps everyday without using them, I’d just set the phone down and wouldn’t need this in the first place. The app says I have a 128 day streak with 0 distracting minutes, yet my phone time is still averaging 10+ hours/day. I’ve had better success with the iOS built in function. Don’t waste your money.

Perfect ADHD AI coach
Found this app mentioned on a Reddit post. I downloaded it to try it out cause I struggle with honoring my screen time and do really well whenever I use AI coaching. I loved the idea that I didn’t have to go to the app myself, that I could actually be redirected FROM my distraction app to talk to the AI coach. Cause think about it like this, when you’ve decided you want to do something against better judgment, do you go ask someone if you should or do you just go to do it and hope no one gets in your way? Lol. I love how simple the conversations are too, I don’t have to filter through a revolutionary and reflective conversation. It asks all the necessary questions. I just wish it would stop asking me to pay.

Scam
Waste of money and time. Not worth it when there are so many other free options out there and they are asking $100 a year. Not to mention the app doesn’t work and AI agent will just straight up fail. Garbage app and a scam. Stay far away from
Good app and ai, doesn’t work sometimes
I really like this app—the AI is super smart, and the design’s great too. I’m happy to be part of the journey, and I even got to email the founders, which was cool and shows they care.
I used to use Opal but switched to Superhappy since it’s cheaper, and for the most part, I’m happy with it. The only annoying thing is that if I don’t open the app every day, the screen time limits just stop working. It kind of defeats the purpose when you’re trying to stay focused but the limits quietly turn off. It’d be awesome if the limits could just run in the background without needing to check in daily.

Problems with the system
I have a paid account, but I can’t add more than one block. I have the subscription connected to my Apple account. I would like to see this fixed if I am to rate this app higher.
Works
Only screen time blocker that genuinely helps me

Ai model is outdated, effective enough for simple conversations, but cannot handle context or memory well.
Developers want $75/year to use their app to block more than one app on your phone, significantly more than what their competitors charge.
There are many easy ways around getting apps unlocked. For those who need serious deterrence from using their problem apps, it will not be adequate.
My recommendation, for those who are serious about blocking their phone: I have been using the ‘freedom’ app for about a month now (I’m not getting paid to say this). It cost $40 for a year, and is much much much more effective at limiting what apps I can use and when. While it does lack the same ability to have a conversation to unlock your apps, there is still a function to unlock apps for a certain amount of time, or you can take that away from yourself.
So while I think this app has its place for those who don’t want serious limits and don’t mind paying extra, it is definitely not the best product on the market, in my opinion.
TL;DR: Superhappy doesn’t allow you to truly block your apps and is overpriced. Check out the freedom app and others.

finally, something that works
so, before this app, i used screenzen and opal. opal i used when ai coaches weren't paywalled, and it was mostly good, but the blocking was done in sessions, so there was nothing to stop me from binging in between them. screenzen had a lot of neat features, but what i really needed wasn't a block screen, it was to be actively discouraged from using it.
when you have a serious addiction to an app (mine is tiktok) mindfulness exercises and long block screens only get you so far. having to talk to the ai and actually justify whether or not i absolutely need to open something has already been a huge barrier between me and mindlessly opening it. ive been using the drill sergeant and it's so so helpful! i love that you can also modify how it behaves towards you. i made my sergeant a bit stricter in tone, because a little bit of curtness is a lot more discouraging and really makes you consider if you absolutely must open it. highly recommend!!

The only one that works
Having to explain myself whenever i want to scroll has completey killed my scrolling behavior. Now I want it for my Mac.
Five stars
This app has saved me so much time I would’ve missed out on, it’s hard to give up addictive social media apps like instagram but trust me it pays off tenfold.
False Advertising
Like many, I saw the advertisements on Instagram. In comments, people were asking if it was free- and your team responded with that it was free. Obviously, the only “free” part is a three day free trial. Sorry, but that is not a free app. If you’re going to run a business and advertise, at least be truthful- because then instead of stopping people’s time on their phones, you’re giving people pointless time on their phone downloading an app that isn’t free after they commented and waited for a response. It sounds like you’re a bit new to business- false advertising and saying it is free to people online- BAD BUSINESS MOVE.

An App that Actually Works
This apps is actually effective at curbing my craving. By having to explain why I want to use social media every time I go to open it up, I’ve actually realized most time I want to use it it’s out of habit. Now, I open with intention and then get out of there pretty quickly, instead of just waiting for an unlock with other apps.
Am super happy with my purchase, would love to give the creators a fist bump

This is the best App on the App Store.
Wow. I had such a bad addiction and I was scrolling 4+ hours a day. Besides Netflix, Instagram is the only social media I have, and i don’t feel like paying for the plan, but it helped. Tremendously. My screen time is now down to about maybe 1-2 hours a day not including homework. I love this app and it has forced me to put myself into the real world and not waste my time on a tiny box. I also love how the responses from the AI are actually meaningful, and suggest other things that could bring the same outcome, but are better for you. I just love this app and think it is doing the world good. 100/10.

Rated 5 stars only for people to be able to see this.
Horrible. Actually horrible. (Well, if you’re broke and don’t have money like me.) But yeah they promote this app on socials (I got it from and ad on Instagram)And they say it’s a FREE way of getting rid of your phone . no no no no no. It costs 7$ a month for an app. For an app thats absurd imo. Why promote something as free then when it comes to free only give 3 days free? There’s not even a normal version of it, so it’s money all together. I wish there was just one app like this that was free bro 😔. But there are alternatives if you would like a free way of getting rid of apps. You could set a screen time for your apps, Or you could delete them. But yeah good idea not the right advertisement. (I saw you took 3 months to get to someone’s reply, I’m not asking to answer this right away, but I would like an answer soon.) Thank you and have a nice day!

Good, but
I wish there was a way to revert changes, I made a suggestion but then I realize the bot got worse.
Not paying 75 dollars a year
Yea sorry, amazing idea that I was super exited to use but I’m not paying 75 dollars a year so I can not use the phone I also pay for, I’d be willing to pay like 10, bucks max, sorry great idea bad execution
Get it immediately and take it seriously
I am using my phone with a conscience now, for the first time in years.
I’m getting my life back.
It’s life-changing.

Idk
I enjoyed using this app. It has helped me a lot, and I am spending more time with family and activities so please please please please just please use this app.
life changer
no, seriously. this app has helped me curb almost all of my scrolling habits. I was spending 6+ hours a DAY on my phone, and now I’m down to about an hour and that’s mostly for work and emails now. It still requires discipline not to ask for unlocks but that extra mindful step is exactly the space needed in order to break scrolling habits. I am so grateful. If you’re anything like me and having trouble separating yourself from your phone to live your LIFE, give this app a try. The paid service is worth every penny. Thank you for developing this app!!
