Shame!
Used to be such a great app, now basically everything is locked behind paywalls, even the most simplest of tools for a quick project. Such a shame! I would’ve recommended this before.
Disappointed after over a decade‼️
I have not written a review on the app store in forever but I am so completely and utterly disappointed in this app that I felt the need to write this out for other users and the developers.
This app played a HUGE part in my life and launched me during my tween years into what resulted in a whole bachelors degree in graphic design as an adult. Now, however, not only are the AI generated abilities just blatantly & annoyingly shoved in your face, but features that WERE ONCE FREE for 10+ years are now part of a SUBSCRIPTION PLAN! Magic lasso? Invert mask? Need that subscription!
I also thought I was going insane because I knew I had purchased the full version of the app in the 2010s but I essentially gaslit myself into thinking I didn’t since there was no trace of any Superimpose except the free version, now with in app purchases. That is until Literally 5 minutes ago reading other people’s reviews here who talked about wishing they could have been grandfathered into the current app’s pro features from buying the app years ago. So now that’s another sour feeling left with me about it all.
Disappointed. Do better. If there was a pay-once version of Superimpose the way it was in the mid 2010s I would buy it. But NOT this downgraded version of the app that influenced my entire life trajectory.

Why did they change the setting, I would use this all constantly now they changed the setting and I can erase things from my photo, time

They added AI and canceled my previous purchase.
I bought the premium version of this before they added AI. Once they added AI they took away the premium version and took away my access to the basic stuff. This app is trash now unless you buy the subscription.

I’ve been using super impose for years now, probably more than ten if I think about it! And it’s always remained the best editing app in my opinion!! It’s reliable and fun for me to use!

Subscription fees need to die
I like you superimpose, I really do. I’ve been using this app for years…but tell me why you’ve hid a previously free tool behind a subscription fee? Pretty sure I paid for this app when I downloaded it so why am I now being expected to pay monthly to continue using it? And for that, you get one star for p*s*ing me off

Great until they Ruined it.
Previously free basic features (like lasso select) are now behind a paywall. You can’t provide less value for more money and expect customers to go along.
Not sure but maybe 15 years maybe more and still going strong.
Like I have said in several previous ratings I have been using this app for many years. I use it several times a week and it is excellent. Any app that has been around 14 years and still receives such high ratings must be great and it is.
Wtf happened
This app used to be one of my favorite purchases, it worked so well and had great features, but recently it became buggy and now things that used to be basic features require I buy the new version. Way to ruin a good thing…
