Great until they Ruined it.
Previously free basic features (like lasso select) are now behind a paywall. You can’t provide less value for more money and expect customers to go along.

Like I have said in several previous ratings I have been using this app for many years. I use it several times a week and it is excellent. Any app that has been around 14 years and still receives such high ratings must be great and it is.
Wtf happened
This app used to be one of my favorite purchases, it worked so well and had great features, but recently it became buggy and now things that used to be basic features require I buy the new version. Way to ruin a good thing…

Taking Away Features
They are removing features that were already available and putting them behind monthly pay walls. This is after YEARS of the features (like zoom blur) being available with one time purchase. Horrible horrible.

This is my go to app on my iPad for making goofy superimposed photos for friends. It's quick and easy and does a great job for small projects where you don’t want to go to the trouble of using photoshop

You ruined it
It used to be perfect. Now the tools I used are behind a subscription paywall. Terrible choice. Now I have to delete the app I have had for 9+ years.
Changing my review
I adored this app for years. I purchased it many years ago and it helped me do a ton of things. Now, my purchase is obviously invalid because I have to pay to use the app. I understand if you want to make your app a subscription, but you should grandfather in the people who have already paid for the app. I’m not happy with the app because it’s not as useful as it once was and I’m not going to pay again for something I already paid for. I purchased the app. I did not lease it. I should be grandfathered in and allowed to use all functions unless they are in app purchases. I hate when developers do this – the Apple Store lets them so they can make more money. They don’t care about their customers. They just want money. I used to love this company and support all their apps, but I’m not going to anymore.
